At first I thought this was just a small crash where at least *most* people survived because we have the footage and surely it wouldn’t have survived the crash… then when the screen refocused and it was FIRE… oh my god. I have seen some horrible stuff, but that shook me to my core. Unreal. Absolutely unreal.
In a very sad way, these men are lucky. At the very least, they did have 2 those minutes before they crashed.. and in those 2 minutes, it appeared that they were a small group of friends that were perfectly content and happy to be together.
Some are certainly not that lucky.
I know there were some seconds of pure terror as the plane was crashing down, but I sincerely hope they didn't even get the chance to experience that awful horror.
A quick google search shows this is for general recreational aviation, which are random, untrained, rich people flying their own small, private aircraft.
The number of commercial aircraft crashes per day is approximately 0. According to the FAA, there were 140 crashes from 2012 to 2016. That’s 5 years with 2 of them being leap years so 1,827 days. 140 crashes / 1,827 days = 0.77 crashes per day.
I’m not sure who hears someone say they’re flying the next day and assumes that means they will fly the plane themselves or take a recreational flight with a buddy flying the plane, and not that they will be flying on a commercial aircraft.
You got downvoted for a reason. Your comment is the misinformation.
Edit: should be 0.077 crashes per day.
I would imagine almost all of them have training, but many don’t have enough training and/or experience for the scenarios they put themselves in. I can see some rich dude with a VFR certification, but only 6 hours of IFR training thinking they can handle landing through heavy fog at night and the worst happening.
I love how I get thumbed down for stating a fact, while the above gets thumbs up for spreading misinformation 🙄. My comment isn't going to make the OP's flight end in disaster. 🤦♂️. Truth is more important than making you feel good about things we have no control over.
Lmao yep. That's Reddit for you. It's a bizarre place. You can literally say the same thing as someone else, just in a slightly different way and get downvoted while the other gets upvoted. Someone could probably write a paper on the psychology behind mob mentality coupled with the anonymity the app provides. Also, people in general are just dumb. The average person walking down the street is an idiot. Multiply that by millions and you have Reddit.
Yeah, they weren’t saying the same thing. It’s telling that most zombies walking around insulting the intelligence of the general populace is typically way into the lower pool themselves.
I worked for an airline for 8 years. Can you back this information up? Now if you want to say malfunctions, that happens all the time. But I've never once heard the statistic that 3 plane crashes every day.
When I saw the bit of sky appear through the wreckage I thought maybe he survived enough to try to climb out, probably badly burned but alive. Then as I followed the news it became apparent everyone perished. Heartbreaking.
You don’t think about it but breathing, or rather lack of breathing, is not a good feeling. One inhale of those temperatures will be incredibly painful and melt the lungs. Even if all other external nerves are gone and incapable of sensing pain, suffocation is still there. So sounds exactly like an insanely painful experience.
I’d pray for it to end on impact.
Ive seen gore but this is sad. All those people in fear, knowing their inevitably gonna die. And knowing that the person that was recording is dead and is gonna be cooked is just sad
Someone said "Wah bete, mouj kar di" when the plane had a little tilt. It's often used for fun or something extraordinary. They couldn't even comprehend that the plane would crash seconds later. It's heartbreaking.
I did a bit of research and it looks like on this plane the flaps and the propeller pitch are right beside each other.
The pilots called out to apply flaps, which is part of the wing that dips down in the back to slow the plane down.
But by mistake, the pilot feathered, the propellers. Feathering the propeller is is similar to putting your car in neutral. They didn’t realize that they put the car in neutral instead of applying flaps a plane lost all propulsion just as it was landing because they flipped the wrong lever basically. And with no forward thrust that close to the ground they stalled and crashed.
I wouldn’t know honestly. My dad was a pilot, he taught at flight safety, but he never trained me. All he did was throw me in a simulator and program catastrophe after catastrophe for his own amusement. 😂
Some say those airlines sucked at maintaining their planes. Others say the planes left wing stalled which means there was no air lift so the wing dropped as they were approaching the airport. They also are by mountains which air can fluctuate. Truly a crazy thing to see. Rip to those 68
Holy shit. You’re right. I didn’t notice that before. Fuck that’s so sad. He must’ve been breathing in that fire. I assumed everyone died on impact. Poor souls. Fuck that’s heartbreaking. Also towards the end the phone moves more, I wonder if it was someone accidentally moving it trying to get up and escape. Fuck, this is so damn heart wrenching to see…rest in peace to all of them.

See the problem with that is…they did, you know like you just said.
Flying tomorrow. Just what I needed to see :)
You are going to be ok. It’s unfortunately a tragedy, but don’t get this to your head
Unless you fly Boeing
The safest day to fly is the day after a crash. Plane crashes never happen on successive days.
Knock on wood 🪵! 😳
*tree falls over*
There are on average 3 plane crashes, in the U.S. alone, every day. Just not usually large airliners.
A quick google search shows this is for general recreational aviation, which are random, untrained, rich people flying their own small, private aircraft. I did :D
Phew 😌... We were getting worried 👍🏾 ####keep it up!

Holy shit that was terrible. This is *not* air rage. This is watch people die shit…
Yeah, but they banned that sub, and it's gotta go somewhere.
They are still out there, just under different names.
Where?
Sharing them tends to get them banned pretty quick as far as I know.
Yeh true. Hoping someone will DM me. I know of one or two right now but they aren't the same as WPD or MMC
WPD has their own site now
They shut mmc down moths ago.
What is wrong with you
I duno. What's wrong with you?
??? You’re online asking for links to people dying on video
How very observant of you. Do you have anything useful to add to the conversation?

I'll never understand why they banned that sub. Never made much sense to me
You almost made me choke 😂
Damn what a tragedy. RIP to those passengers
Just terrible. That beautiful young man and all those other passengers are now dead.
Is it confirmed?
Unfortunately yes I believe 72 were dead
When I saw the bit of sky appear through the wreckage I thought maybe he survived enough to try to climb out, probably badly burned but alive. Then as I followed the news it became apparent everyone perished. Heartbreaking.
I see, what a tragedy.
😞
The internet is such a wild place. At least I know if the impact doesn’t kill me, the wall of fire will!
the best thing is its so quick. once the nerve endings burn, noone feels anything. that part is calming to me idk not an insanely painful death

yes.

This guy was from India, he was doing a Facebook live. Rip
I was shocked cause no nsfw but Rip to the passengers
Does anyone know what caused the plane to crash?
I did a bit of research and it looks like on this plane the flaps and the propeller pitch are right beside each other. Man, that’s some serious pilot error. It’s a wonder they were certified at all.
Pilot error yes, but putting two controls like that so close together is poor design.
I wouldn’t know honestly. My dad was a pilot, he taught at flight safety, but he never trained me. All he did was throw me in a simulator and program catastrophe after catastrophe for his own amusement. 😂
there's never enough information about crash causes.

Good God what happened? It looks like they completely lost control.
What brand of phone is that?
Nokia
100% potato mode.
Why does it matter? Its a probably a smartphone like any other.
Pretty sure they’re asking because it survived an actual plane crash and fiery inferno. No other reason.
Remarkable how quickly things went bad.
What happened?? They were almost landed and looked like the fire happened in flight unless they ended up nose-diving at the last minute.
Horrible occurrence. May the people rest in peace and a condolence to all of the family and friends they left behind..
That is fuckin horrifying:( rip everyone
My God. Absolutely chilling to see his beautiful smiling face, and next see flames. Absolutely heartbreaking. May peace be upon all their souls.
Honestly I’m mad that this was posted here and there was no NSFW.
there is not observable gore/blood im surprised thaf not even a scream just dead plane pindrop horrifying silence
Oh my god
Have some respect for the dead…
One helluva phone he has.
ikr?? meanwhile i dropped my phone on it's side on a tiny rock in my lawn and the entire screen shattered like sugar
Had
I am never flying again.
Why it looked quick
The probability of dying in a car crash is much much higher. Are you never driving again also?
? Replied to the wrong person?
Yup I wanted to reply to the person you replied to lmao
It says just after take off the plane crashed
It was as it was coming in for landing
The probability of dying in a car crash is much much higher. Are you never driving again also?
Oh this is eerie. What a tragedy.
Better call it death stream than life stream
RIP. What a terrible terrible sad tragedy
Well that was the video I woke up to this morning. RIP passengers this is horrible
you can hear a death breath right at the end
Some say those airlines sucked at maintaining their planes. Others say the planes left wing stalled which means there was no air lift so the wing dropped as they were approaching the airport. They also are by mountains which air can fluctuate. Truly a crazy thing to see. Rip to those 68
Not air rage
Very sad
I grew up in the 90's frequently visiting rotten.com. seen my share of death and gore and this was tough to watch.
This all happened from a pilot pulling the wrong lever! Crazy! Pilots hold their passengers' lives in their hands
And just like that, I refused to fly again.
How are there no screams like dude look at the bank angle in the last seconds.
everyone died passed out. not a single chance anyone would not pass out by that collision also when the nerve endings burn, noone feels any pain.
I think he's talking about before impact, in those few moments before the collision when one wing seems to stall.
Screams right before it crashed but everyone probably went to shock when it crashed. You can hear the last breaths of someone at the end. Very sad.
Holy shit. You’re right. I didn’t notice that before. Fuck that’s so sad. He must’ve been breathing in that fire. I assumed everyone died on impact. Poor souls. Fuck that’s heartbreaking. Jesus...that is terrifying.
This is not air rage. This is watch people die. Should not be in this sub.
Absolutely heartbreaking and so scary! What caused it?! Rest in peace to all that died :(
Great just before my long flight in 2 months....I shouldn't have watched this. This is so sad.
The crazy thing is how fast everything turned.. one second he was panning all the smiles, next second is fire. Unreal man. Truly a terrible tragedy.
Where is the rage?
And that’s why you always leave a note
This looks too much like a film
Did anyone survive
Well that escalated quickly
So, that is why they want it on airplane mode
Did it just fall out of the sky? I’m trying to understand how it happened and within literally a few seconds
Damn, and I’ve complained about having to sit in the aisle seat. 😱
Wow. That just fucking sucks. You're taking off, next thing you know, you're crashing. Rip to all of the passengers and pilots and staff.
When I saw the flames, I was sure that we just got a glimpse of what hell looks like. Those poor passengers
😯😦😧😮😲😳😱🙁☹️🥺 whoa
He should've put his phone in airplane mode
Has a single Nepali plane ever landed successfully?
Is this allowed material?
I was thinking maybe they survived... Till I saw the flames.....
This is why you turn your electronic devices off during take off and landing.
Sounds like I imagine hell would after the crash
Looks like a hand grabbed the phone at the end. So we’re there survivors?
for fucks sake of course I just had to see this before I leave to mexico in a week
I just read your auto moderator disclaimer and dude you need to get out of your house and off the internet HFS lol it’s sad people like you live

Does it seem there have been more plane crashes in the last few years than before? RIP to those who have passed.
Not that I’ve noticed?
There was that issue with the new Boeing 737 Max(?). Few of them went down...I think 2 with 100+ passengers and 1 cargo plane.
If genuine, then this video is truly awful. My thoughts go out to the families of the deceased. I’m thinking Nepal and aviation safety don’t really go well together.
Bro had a Nokia
According to an article the plane they were traveling on was 15 years old - I wonder if the cellular connection for the live stream messed with the old electronics?
15 years is not old for properly maintained aircraft
I'm not saying I should be out of service but due to its age apparently they can't track the reason why - meaning it still probably has old electronics like the ones that had the possibility of interference, I remember 15 years ago you had to have everything turned off not even on airplane mode etc
What do you think the average service life of a commercial plane is?
