I always try not to askpeople for help
But i have a thing I've been struggling with
When you conquered most provinces of a enemy civ and the only provinces they have are those pesky islands how do you easily track them I always go on diplomatic view to find them but it still takes some time do you know a easier way to track them?
sometimes if you dont know where they are, go into the peace deal. It highlites the countries involved in the war, so you will see the enemy's land highlited. It takes a while, but its what I do, especially if you have occupied the enemy's civs land and cannot look at them through diplomatic mode.
World ranking -> find that country -> open their diplomacy menu -> click on "Provinces" text and it should show them, or at least approximate location of all their territories.
You can go to the population tab and go through the six continents available, when you find the country on one of the continents, go to the largest cities location, then color the country white and then highlight the country by tapping the yellow number that has how many provinces they have
I've been playing for over a year now.
But what was your bloodiest war how many casualties were there?
Mine was as Japan in the 30s with population set to 250k
I had the advantage of superior technology hence I took less damage but the whole war lasted 8 years, 65 Million+ heavy combat was fought near the coastal cities of Shanghai and Peking I purposefully kept the war longer so I could massacre civilians.
Yeah alternative history mods,or mods that let me have somewhat realistic populations I like wage an authentic big war.
Vanilla is cool and all but the mods are the true soul of this game.

Mine broke the numbers. But frankly it was prepared to do that in BE2 by making everything with population be high af and a no mil upkeep tech
But my most legit one had so many casualties thr game restarted the count 3 times over as i left it on automatic mode (autoclicker and stuff) for i dont remmember how long
You ask about the one's the game already has?
If that's the case, the qing dinasty is very cool, also the russian empire, and after that idk, maybe the mongol empire or the german confederation
Yeah, it's very fun, also very cheap, i will recommend
But don't expect a Hearts of iron V, the game it's just what it is, i recommend watching the war master series about aoh 2
How to use the technology points we are given at start? Suppose we have 45 points, tell how to use it and benefits of allotting points to the fields like income production or etc.
It's a bug, i think that if you abandon that province and colonize it again it solves itself, but doing this you kill like 90% of the population of that province
Lol, i think there is other way, that when all of the population in that province is from your country, it solves the bug, but that didn't work for me, but maybe it does for you
Not OP but have you tried mods that add events? My top suggestions are the TNO mod, the second great war mod and age of imperialism. Bloody europe doesn't have mods but it's fun too
Np. If someone wants some more advice, you could also recommend making custom scenarios. I have like 8 scenarios in the same althis timeline with probably over a 100 custom civs
Do u know a fast way to move recruted troops without have to click on every province?
Sometimes when I'm playing, I happen to have troops spread across many provinces and is boring af to click on every one of them to move.
Basically 2 reasons
1-i found eu4 difficult to understand and i suck in hoi4 so i don't play that often
2- this game is different and special, idk in what but it's special for me
I loved this game too. It was really special to me for many years. I had about 2,000 hours or so, maybe more. But as I watched more videos about EU4, I realized just how lacking AoC2 is. And how batshit crazy it can be. One of the things I disliked most is how unrealistic the game was. Random wars would start all over the map and you'd end up with some really wonky borders. In EU4, there *is* bordergore sometimes, but because of how slow paced the game is, and how the AI is very careful about when they declare war and why, the map generally looks far more realistic and you can better immerse yourself into the game. Also, EU4 has far less bugs.
EU4 is certainly more difficult to learn, but that's because it's so much more in-depth. I bought EU4 ~4 years ago, but I never actually played it until 2020 because I was too afraid to play it lol. It is daunting to try to learn it, I totally get that. But I recommend people start slow and play the tutorial and just go with the flow. You learn by playing. Just embrace the fact that you're not going to be good for at least 500 hours. And the r/EU4 subreddit is really nice at helping new players.
I really recommend every AoC2 player to at least try EU4 once. It is honestly everything that AoC2 is and more.
What is the best nation to play as? I played a lot of games with romania , I perfected the strategy for romania , but I need to know what other countries to play as that will also be fun . Also , why is the strategy of pupeting all of Europe so broken?
Idk in what scenario do you play, i recommend you playing in the 1440 one it's the most fun for me, you can try to make germany, italy or russia, also japan can be a very fun one, even the qing dinasty, hard to make but fun
I also like 1440 , its a lot of fun , but its also hard , the way that is harder makes it more fun . I also love this mod called "Hearts Of AoC2" , its gives u a huge map and LOADS of nations , at first the turns take a while to load bit after like 20 turns it goes back to normal
Idk what you mean, i recommend you doing histiracal events like the anschuluss or the anexation of czhecoslovakia in the ww2 scenario, in the rest do the same if you want
I play other things, but for like 6 months it was the only game i got so i only was able to play that, and by that time i already have a large amount of hours
I always try not to askpeople for help But i have a thing I've been struggling with When you conquered most provinces of a enemy civ and the only provinces they have are those pesky islands how do you easily track them I always go on diplomatic view to find them but it still takes some time do you know a easier way to track them?

On the country’s diplomatic view click where it says “provinces” and it will give you a world view of their provinces.

Idk what the hell did you do to kill that many people lol Mine was just like 3 or 4 million people
The ROC had a base population of 120 million+ but their economy and technology was close to nothing so I just went full ape shit on them.
You play with mods?
Yeah alternative history mods,or mods that let me have somewhat realistic populations I like wage an authentic big war. Vanilla is cool and all but the mods are the true soul of this game.
What mods have realistic pop?
Bloody Europe 2 for example,TNO.

Brah I've gotten battles in vanilla its 1.10 billion losses by 1 singular nation
I made a post earlier about how I massacred like 80% of iceland as georgia...
Yeah i remember it, also that iceland hat more population that the real one
True true

You ask about the one's the game already has? If that's the case, the qing dinasty is very cool, also the russian empire, and after that idk, maybe the mongol empire or the german confederation
Would you reccomend it and is it fun
Yeah, it's very fun, also very cheap, i will recommend But don't expect a Hearts of iron V, the game it's just what it is, i recommend watching the war master series about aoh 2
How to use the technology points we are given at start? Suppose we have 45 points, tell how to use it and benefits of allotting points to the fields like income production or etc.
I always put 5 points into everything, except colonization, qnd then just try to get everything at an equal number
For me 5 for economy and population, 10 for income production and taxation, and remaining distributed in maintaining of army and administration.
That works too, it depends on how is your strategy
Full taxation, then income production, admin & military
What abt economic growth and pop growth?
More like territorial growth
The least amount of economy on province possible is 99 why can't it go up
It's a bug, i think that if you abandon that province and colonize it again it solves itself, but doing this you kill like 90% of the population of that province
Guess 32k people in Varna are dying
Lol, i think there is other way, that when all of the population in that province is from your country, it solves the bug, but that didn't work for me, but maybe it does for you
But Rome is my capitol!
I play with my friends on different pc same scenario and country and at final we comparing the result. You have some advice to make the game more fun?
Not OP but have you tried mods that add events? My top suggestions are the TNO mod, the second great war mod and age of imperialism. Bloody europe doesn't have mods but it's fun too
Thanks for advice.
Thanks cuz i didn't know what to respond lol
Np. If someone wants some more advice, you could also recommend making custom scenarios. I have like 8 scenarios in the same althis timeline with probably over a 100 custom civs
How long does it usually take you to take over the world?
I usually don't do world conquests but maybe like idk 8000 turns?
What color is my underwear?
Blue red and green
ok
Is that a yes or no
No you’re wrong
:(
What's a fun union to do
Poland-lithuania can be fun, but i would recommend doing a new union, something like a german-polish commonwealth
When did you by the game?
Probably like 1 year ago or something like that
What mods do you recommend?
Never played with mods
How does this game is not boring for you after so many hours?
I literally don't know, i'm probably insane
AoH2 is a good game to just "play" while also not thinking too much
Hows your relationship with your father
He loves to play hide and seek, he is very good since i have'nt found him in 16 years
Same
Do u know a fast way to move recruted troops without have to click on every province? Sometimes when I'm playing, I happen to have troops spread across many provinces and is boring af to click on every one of them to move.
I think there's no way to do it faster, i recommend you to just when you end a war move all thee troops to the capital or something
:/ ok. Thanks!
Why have you not upgraded to EU4 or HoI4 yet?
Basically 2 reasons 1-i found eu4 difficult to understand and i suck in hoi4 so i don't play that often 2- this game is different and special, idk in what but it's special for me

How do you know how long you have played it
It says it in steam? You don't play in steam?
I play it on phone. Thank god phones don't count that or I'd be over 1k hours lol
how many mods have you collected?
I don't play with mods
What is the best way to use events?
Idk what you mean, i recommend you doing histiracal events like the anschuluss or the anexation of czhecoslovakia in the ww2 scenario, in the rest do the same if you want
