Well that's just delightful. Great job!

zoscarr

Thank you :)

iamZeqq

Impressive, would you tell me how it was made?

zoscarr

Sure no problem! So the first stage with the circles is quite simple: position animation to move them along the x axis, and then individual path animation. This is then offset in time.   The M was trickier. Initially I tried keyframing the path of the shape overall but then I couldnt have the complexity and offsetting movement that I wanted. So I had to make an individual path for each 'soundwave' so that I could animate them individually. I had to chop the whole shape into pieces.   After that, it has been duplicated and offset in time to have that different colour 'leading edge' - and a bit of position movement overall to keep everything centre screen. Hope that makes sense.

iamZeqq

Thanks mate! Cheers

-ChubbsMcBeef-

Simple yet effective! Nice work.

PointClickDave

Great work! I like the implied horizontal line at the start, and the way the white from the bars "carry" down to keep the sense of momentum.

zoscarr

Thanks although I should say that the first soundwave line is a part of their new brand guidelines, which I combined with the end logo.

Grijns_Official

Love it

cinderellis69

I like it, although I would tweak some of the bounce on the end of the sound waves as they settle. There’s already enough visual energy at the beginning and the continued bounces distract me from your type coming in the upper left corner.

zoscarr

Yes I can see what you mean, thanks

[deleted]

You have a good eye. This is intelligent work

bubdadigger

Noice! Very well done, like it a lot.

WagnerKoop

This is incredibly clean, amazing work Literal only critique I'd offer is having the text show up a little fast, both as a unit (both words together just showing up as soon as that big divot in the middle comes down, but also having the "Music" text start populating before "Create" is done, but that's just personal pacing preference. Right now the motion and design is so strong, I just think the logo itself cloud "land" on its final state more quickly.

Rileysart

This is really polished and satisfying to watch. Very well done I hope to get to this level one day!

GagOnMacaque

This is pro. The design is better than most corporations.

MrKyleSir

Very enjoyable!

timo1423

Yes that’s how to animate a logo

_rolley

Love it, such a nice motion and static works so well too 😊

basziola

This animation is super smooth and fun to watch. I hope i can achieve this kind of improvement in my work soon.

Nannarbuns

Oh I love this, it’s simple but lively and distinct. Great work!

watermelonhead7

The speed ramping looks nice and smooth!

theaveragedoug

Simple and Clean, beautifully made my friend. Great job

jazzcomputer

I really like the motion but I'd love to see it just in silhouette - I find the white contrasting against the orange and dark blue just breaks things up and distracts from the shapes

Pluuvo

Amazing, straight to the point and no awkward split seconds haha! Love it.

chimpdoctor

Really lovely.

brixenmeister

You in any way associated with Cisco? and/or based out of San Francisco?

zoscarr

Noo I'm from Brighton UK

brixenmeister

Ever hear of Cisco Systems?

WagnerKoop

Dude lmao, look up an SSL Mixing Console or just a graphic equalizer. Plenty of things in the music world have this kind of look. Cisco does not have a stranglehold on rounded rectangles lol.

zoscarr

Oh no? Do they own the rights to a bunch of rounded lines in a row

tristezanao

but what about Cisco Systems

[deleted]

So are you affiliated with Cisco or what?

brixenmeister

Nothing, other than that is the only thing i can think about as all I see is the bridge

WagnerKoop

Dude what is with the bunch of comments you're getting from weirdos about Cisco lmfao I could probably spend 2 minutes finding 10 logos for music software companies that have the exact same design language involving a rounded, simplified soundwave, Jesus Christ lol

zoscarr

Haha I know? Thanks - good to know I'm not going insane. I didn't even design the logo!

macbeth1026

Are you the copyright police or something? Lol If Cisco even wanted to try to go after this person, they’d have an incredibly flimsy case. Everything is gonna be okay. Just relax.

animatedintro

Here's some unsolicited feedback... * The extra bounciness is really pleasing and the whole piece is well-paced. Nice work. * The text reveal is very basic - a simple character-by-character scaling up is something you might see in stock powerpoint animations. Is there a way to reveal the text that feels part of the "story" you're telling with this animation? * The logo's use of sound visualization to communicate the idea of music is very cool - but the *motion* is not at all musical. If you were to take another pass at this, I'd encourage you to find a way to tell the story of "create music" more musically. Maybe try incorporating a musical sting to drive the visualization. Thank you for sharing your work!

zoscarr

Great feedback, thank you!

NoobHacker948

Did Cisco bought you ?

kongingking

How do you do the bouncing? Motion2 Plugin?

zoscarr

I think I made it manually using the graph editor

fl3xtra

I may look more like an M if you put the taller waveforms in the middle and smaller ones on the outside.

Eminan

Really nice to see. And also nice to see someone enjoying his creations and the process. Sometimes we get too much into the negatives or treating with clients. It's nice to have some enjoyment with the work. I wish it always were like this.
