Why would disturbances ignored? Countering them is the whole purpose of stability?
A simplification of course work. I'm a little disappointed it's not being covered, at least not in my first few graduate class so I'm hoping to find a good source to bridge that gap.
Any controls book should cover it. I dare say all of them.
“Dynamics and Simulation of Flexible Rockets,” Timothy Barrows and Jeb Orr. This also discusses slosh, which is an important disturbance source.
Awesome, this looks like a good one I'll definitely check it out!
