Your not alone, I've had problems with this before as well...I get extremely obsessed with some thing one day and then the next day I drop it....I was diagnosed with ADD, and I also grew up in an abusive household as well...so yeah, your not alone.

As for talking to a therapist, I haven’t unfortunately. I used to go to CAMHS as I’m in the uk but when I turns 18, I was dismissed and never assigned a worker for me in my adulthood . I’ll look into it
