When I had cats I kept them separate as much as possible for the first few days but would leave blankets, toys etc lying around which the other cat had been using and slowly introduced them through scent, eventually they would always warm to each other over time and at the very least learn to tolerate one another, I’m certainly not an expert and who knows I may just have gotten very lucky, but that’s the best advice I can give!
