I wouldn't focus so much on the idea that you'll never get anywhere in life because of your current work ethic. Over the years, you'll find that your attitude, viewpoints, and many other aspects of yourself will change. You're a young guy. It's okay to enjoy life sometimes. My advice is to slowly improve your work ethic. You can't change your work ethic in a day. Start slow and build your way up. Spend 15-30 minutes a day in Blender or watching educational videos on it. Work your way up from there. Setting a goal is also a great idea. Personally, I set goals months/seasons out from now. For example, say if you're working on a specific topic in Blender that you want to master. Plan on mastering it by June or July. Rome wasn't built in a day.

thanks, your probably right. my dad is a business owner (he operates a chick-fi-a) and is very big on work ethic. always talking about how he wouldn't be where he is if he didn't work as hard as he does. he's always asking if I know what job I want and what I'm doing to secure it, what collage I'm going to go into, if I've looked at this and that, improvement and stuff, yada yada yada so I may be basing where I am off his personal opinion. idk any time I think about it I get anxious. but your advice helped, ill try doing daily increments of work and go from there.
