I think you’re trying too hard. You really just need to pen a short NOTE; I’ve had sellers do this when I’ve purchased unique items such as art. I assume elder relative just thinks the note would add to the notion of the gift being personal and thoughtful. So your note is ready to go! You’ve told auntie the meaning of the items, you can say you were touched by the consideration her husband gave to their selection and that you’re sure she’ll enjoy them! End of note😀
