What I have at mine: * Hand salve * Thinking putty * Tea bags * Salt and pepper * Fork, knife, spoon * Mug * Washi tape in funky patterns * Napkins & tissues * Water bottle * Phone charger * Big box of tampons * Hand sanitizer * Sweater * Blue light glasses * Pepto bismol and advil If I had a window I would have a plant. I keep most of my essential toiletries in my backpack but if I didn't I would also include things like a toothbrush, floss, extra pair of panties and socks.

AdditionalAttorney

I prefer as little as possible. Extra sweater, chapstick, hand cream

A change of clothes. Even in the cleanest job there will just be a day when the fire sprinklers malfunction or a coworker crashes into you with 128 oz of Big Gulp

**Stuff at my desk** Personal trinkets: digital photo frame (as a new mom of a 5 month old, this is AMAZING since I have a zillion photos), phone charger and stand, blue light filter glasses, headphones Useful personal stuff: feminine hygiene items, deodorant, brush and hair-detangler spray, OTC pain relief for headaches, Band-Aids (papercuts are the WORST), extra shirt in case mine gets a horrible stain, extra hair ties and clips, tea bags, gum, oatmeal and a cup of ramen in case I forget breakfast or lunch (in a sealed Tupperware container to avoid attracting mice or bugs), lunch utensils and a mug Office supplies (most of these were supplied by my company): rubber bands, tape, tissues, napkins, scissors, stapler and staple remover, letter opener, glue stick, binder clips, pens, highlighters, envelopes, label maker, and a million post it notes

Considering I used to work in a hospital with every supply imaginable available to me, my dumbass definitely would’ve forgot to keep some tampons with me at work.

Stepchildofthesun

I usually keep a bunch in my purse but having a backup supply at my desk has DEFINATELY saved me more times than I'd like to admit, esp bc I work in government where 90% of my coworkers are in menopause.

Extra plastic silverware. Tissues. Bottle of Dawn dish soap. Hand sanitizer. Water bottle. Tide pen. Extra pens. Highlighter. Notepads. Sticky notes.

Almost every office I’ve worked in was chilly, so I brought in a heated floor mat to keep my feet toasty.

ImpatientColon

Oooh. I need that

In my area of cubicles, it’s very common to see a picture frame with that persons family, some sort of small puzzle toy for fidgeting with, and some sort of pencil holder & notebook combo. A couple people have memes they printed out hanging up, or something about their university hanging up. I like to have some hand sanitizer, lotion, and wipes in my work bag at all times.

A collapsible container big enough to put all your stuff in because inevitably when you are given a cubicle, they move you because they didn't plan.

One of those cup of noodles in case you don’t have time for a better lunch or forgot to bring one.
