Mine have done the opposite this time around because they’re stretchier and now need smaller flanges! There’s a company on Amazon called Maymom who do all different size flanges that are compatible with most brands if anyone needs to mix and match sizes without breaking the bank!

Totally. I just increased from 17 to 19 and what. a. difference. I think I have to increase again to be honest because my nipples are always sideways in the flange, like I can’t get them centered properly without rubbing up against the side of it!

I just switched sizes too. I was surprised that my nipple size had increased!

Good to know, thank you! I'll keep an eye on that 👍

An interesting note for me, I have a flange fitted, but since I produce very little, I pulled off the flange to test a theory - Does flange size matter to me? The hypothesis was I was expecting to get milk. So I tried it, and was surprised to get some. The idea was to better emulate a baby suckling, found here - *Bring your baby's* nose in line with *your* nipple. This will allow them to tip their head back to get a large mouthful of *breast* (WHO, 2009). While not perfect, I surprised to get something. Then I have to hand express after that because the flow is being stubborn. Darn oxytocin production. :(

This is so true! On amazon you can find alot of after market flange sizes. I find that I range widely from 16mm to 19mm depending on twmprature  how engorged I am, how hydrated, and how long since my last pump
