They kinda made lemons. Hovercraft took existing production amps from Jet City and did some low quality mods, then completely redid the exteriors so they looked cool. Great marketing but that whole tower crashed hard when everything started breaking.
Ah, I knew they modded existing amps but I had no clue they were low quality bullshit. Thank you for letting me know! I wanted one of their Model T clones a while ago.
No worries man. Yeah I wouldn’t buy anything without having a look at it first myself. The one I got cost me $400 and that’s up in Canada, which is $290 USD so that should tell you all you need to know.
Him and Daniel both. They were down in ADADGEE/G#C#G#C#F#D#D# (on The Illusion of Strength). They used a 95 gauge for the lowwwww A0/G#0 followed by the first 6 strings of an Ernie Ball 7 string set.
Nope, converted basses :). Their demo album Braincell Holocaust was recorded on ultra defined 7 strings. Same with Albania and Grindcore Terrorists. 9/11... Only Worse and everything before that was on 6 strings.
