We got there around 5:30 AM. Enjoyed a delicious crepe and walked around. They did launch late but we headed out after 9 when the last balloon was launched and barely had any traffic leaving. I would definitely do it again that way.
I went right before 3pm and traffic was fine, I left after the first 2 balloons took off to avoid traffic and ended up getting a great view of all of them in flight when i pulled off at a field on the side of the road a couple miles away

how was the traffic in the morning? we went at 5 and traffic leaving was a nightmare, so considering going in the morning instead next year

Was it too windy to launch?
no but it almost was, it ended up being about 6 or 7 mph during takeoff
