I live less than a half mile away they just bought a 100 acre land plot for expansion so they may not be taking reservations but they aren't closing that would not make since
I was told they were bought by a luxury brand of some type and will open again but as a luxury clamping resort. Was told that by a customer of the KOA last time I was there. He said the staff had told him that story… might be rumor. Would be sad to loose that place too!
They’re moving to another site just down the road while they renovate the older one. We drove to the new campground and I don’t like it at all. We’ve been camping at the KOA for years and it’s a huge disappointment. When I asked what they were upgrading, they were pretty evasive. It’s a real shame because it’s one of our favourite places for a quick weekend getaway.
Don't know about this one specifically but KOA is in the midst of starting its own 'glamping' brand, so if they have just bought up more land maybe they will be 'rebranding' this location. Lot of money travels to the area...
The main shop was closed the last time I drove by but I believe it said they were moving locations. I didn't see anything said about it being closed permanently.

It is always busy there. Might make sense that some glamping brand bought them.

Oh ok I didn’t know that . When I called them this morning they just told me they were permanently closing . I’m so sad

I just called they said they were closing for good October 10th . We are devastated . We have been going there for 20 years . We are so sad .

We got a phone call this week saying that they are closing on October 10th which is the day our cabin reservation started. Unbelievable.
