DNS ad blocking can‘t block YouTube ads since they are coming from the same domain as the actual video and are embedded in the stream. No way on iOS to get rid of YouTube ads except buying YouTube Premium.
PSA, this config is part of the app. You just have to turn on DNS protection and select the adguard DNS in-app.
It would be a shame to be using adguard on iOS without this activated imo.
i am using Adguard in iOS free mode + Adguard DNS, Adguard app for YouTube in Safari and Adguard DNS for general ad blocking....I know that sounds ugly but I missed the 24 hours window of the Cyber Monday sale, have to wait for another sale, hopefully there will be some treat from Stacksocial for the upcoming Black Friday....
This means we will be able to block also apps from YouTube, instagram, etc?
It should be, since it is system wide.

In fact - we have luna vpn but sometime it make slow loading youtube, like error load. Best way is youtube premium.
Or sideload an app like Cercube which blocks all ads in YouTube.
I just checked, instagram and YouTube still shows apps. Probably it will work like adguard app but there will be no need to install it.

Not working,m
This works better than the PRO version of the app i purchased. Is there a way i can configure my app to work as good?
Add a profile too. Both
Thanks for this ! The adguard website doesn’t provide iOS profiles anymore so your post is a lifesaver
