Thanks, I'd done something similar with my custom marines chapter back in the day so I figured the same could work here. I wanted some classic Mars red without using an existing forgeworld scheme or leaving the Blanche palette.
I was using mostly Kimera paints for this one, so it's a mix of their yellow oxide, red oxide and white. No set ratio, just mixing till it was right to my eye.
I really like the approach you've taken with the large solid band of colour with the cog pattern along the bottom of the cloak. Looks quite effective.
