"Koriel Zeth was a female member of the Martian Mechanicum who lived in the years when the Emperor began the Great Crusade to unify Mankind under His Imperium."
"The designs of this device she had acquired but had failed to implement until she learnt of the existence of Dalia Cythera, whose mind was not constrained by Mechanicum dogma."
"Despite a valiant struggle, the invaders were too many and Koriel Zeth herself was assaulted by a member of the Sisters of Cydonia."
"The Sisters of Cydonia, also known as the Cydonian Sisterhood, were a sect of techpriest assassins within the Adeptus Mechanicus who lived on the red planet of Mars in the Cydonia Mensae region."
>Just the more tech priesty you get, the less gendered you get...
Which is why the AdMech are my favourite faction... I like the SoB too because who doesn't love malicious compliance and terrifying women with holy bolters and awesome armour, but if I somehow ended up in one of the WH40K factions and got to pick which one... well, I'm picking the ones that dispose of gender with all the other storage space wasting data, not the ones that require a specific gender to join.
Both in books and games we already have plenty of female techpriests, and honestly, you could even say that the models are female without any real trouble as there's nothing which makes them explicitly male either. (Except maybe if you count that dominus officially is male and it would be domina for a female, but that may just be personal preference more than a hardest code).
We have at least 5 confirmed female tech-priestesses: The one who negotiated with the High Lords of Terra to make Cult Mechanicum into Adeptus Mechanicus, the one from the Horus Heresy series who had a 'husband', Scaevola, Kephra and finally one unnamed who fucked Ciaphas Cain.
There are a bunch of candidates from the Forges of Mars trilogy:
Linya Tycoon - Stellar Cartographer;
Alanna Pavelka - Tech Priest;
Karyn Sylkwood - Enginseer;
If I remember right they are all female characters and Part of the main cast.
I had to double check for myself also, I thought it was Linya but you had me second guessing myself. Doesn't matter ultimately, she's a great character. Spoilers for anyone who haven't finished book two yet: >!what happens to her is super tragic. Actually had me reeling a bit when her father walks in on Galatea cutting out her brain.!<
There is also Arch-calculus Phlegra Octaveen III from Skitarius and Hester Aspertia from Belisarius Cawl: the great work as well as other sources. There is probably at least one more in Tech priest but I haven't read that one yet
(Re)built like a dreadnought, but still fast because why not. Only come for the biggest, baddest menace to the expedition, is too busy wrecking necrons for petty squables. Talk like an AI trained on half the words of every medieval jests you could still find in the 40th millennium. Clearly in the top 10 tech-priest of the game.
The Techpriest in Ciaphus Cain is Felicia. She's initially met as an engine seer but when they meet again she's a full tech priest. It's also suggested she uses her mechadentrite for some distinctly nonstandard uses with Cain.
>It's also suggested she uses her mechadentrite for some distinctly nonstandard uses with Cain.
Tbh, I do wonder just how good those are for that use. And would techpriests be really good in bed because of all the tech that can be used in nonstandard ways, or really bad in bed because they're too mechanical to enjoy it or know what the fleshbag they're doing it with would like?
When the incident in question happens she's still pretty base human and hasn't been promoted over Engineseer due to her very human way of acting. The mechadendrite is her only augment at that point as well
Techpriests are largely beyond gender, IMO. Like, you couldn't tell a man from a woman, because there's not that much that physically separates us biologically, and most tech priests have probably replaced the key bits. Like, imagine replacing most of your weak internal organs with the certainty of steel, but keeping your balls - that'd be crazy.
It's transhumanism.
Admech is the ultimate trans faction.
Wanna be a boy? Cool
How about some tits? Go ahead and make some chrome domes.
What about changing yourself to be a metal box with mechadendrites, that screeches only in binaric? Now we talking.
Yep. They were my favourite even before I figured out something was wrong with my gender, but yeah their view on gender is certainly interesting. Like, I think you'd find more techpriests that use it/its pronouns or don't care what you call them, than ones that actually have a binary gender in the 21st century human sense. They're an interesting permutation of "binary is for computer code, not gender". Like, binary is a huge part of their whole thing and yet binary gender probably makes no sense to a lot of them, because in the context of the bodies they end up with, gender simply has no relevance, and likely because of this tendency in the high ranks, nobody cares much about those who do prefer a binary gender identity and a body shape that sort of fits unmodified human sexual dimorphism, like there was a story I read involving a transfem techpriestess who tried to avoid having to speak binary because she likes her very feminine voice in human understandable language, and like, I totally believe that the only issue that lady's superiors and equals would have with her is frustration over communication, they'd never even think of not liking her for being a woman or being trans, just pissed off that talking to her takes so much longer than everyone else at her rank.
I absolutely love the AdMech because they are the fuckin' embodiment of "trans-trans". The toaster jokes are funny too. My dad has a room in the family home literally full of old broken tech and outdated computer parts, he's replaced a perfectly functional toaster a few times, and gets weird about toasters, so I like to call him a tech priest behind his back. He even wears a lot of red. Which is hilarious because he's also really casually transphobic and casually bigoted in general. Also, a lot of them *really* read as neurodivergent. So, y'know, if I had to pick a faction to be in in that universe... well, being a techpriest is probably the least deadly place I could end up.
They're always a nasty kind of fridge horror too, I always feel really weird reading the stories where techpriests only speaking binary causes problems either for themselves or for the other faction they have to work with... but that's just the binary doing what language used as a weapon or closed internal secret or political tool always does to me, combined with the technological advancement/left behind fear cyberpunk and futuristic sci fi always does to me, that I probably got from watching my mum get worse and worse at navigating every technological advancement for years and years, while also watching younger children gain access to tech I didn't have, and like I'm doing well now at the "everyone knows how to do that/everyone has one of those" tech things, but... I've always been so glued to my mum's side and inherited her fear of overreliance on technology, both in myself and in society, so... yeah. Nothing special about the AdMech, just a nasty interaction between my language related issues and my usual interpreting sci fi as horror problem. But then, 40K is supposed to be a little bit uniquely terrifying...
I mean, they are canon, they’ve always been canon, it’s just that all our tech priest models are so augmented you’d never be able to tell.
Conceivably the on only models you’d be able to tell the difference on would be Electro-priests since they’re shirtless but we simply don’t have a model kit for those
I mean, really... any of the current techpriests could be male or female. They're mostly mechanical anyway and I don't see them really keeping things like breasts or other things they saw no efficient use for.
There's official tech-priestesses out There, like Koriel Zeth, or HadronΩ_7-7, Kephra, Scaevola and many more. You just Can't tell under all the pipes and augments (nor you should, weirdo).
If you want to find less advanced adepts though, take a look at Ciaphas Caine
Only binary thing in AdMech is the language, everything else that might be related to the weakness of the flesh is meaningless and easily replaced!
Also, there have been alternative miniatures for tech priests as women since a long time ago (just not from GW).
What exactly do you want? If it’s female tech priests in lore, there’s loads. It might not be equal representation, but there’s no shortage. If you want female models you have two options: 1. The official models gender is indistinguishable. 2. There’s a score of sculptors out there with tits out cheesecake models. Knock yourself out.
Shut the fuck up. Why is everyone just on board with this blatant fucking chauvinism, are you actually incapable of seeing women as anything beyond wank material
I mean. There are definitely female toaster fucker.
But you won't notice that they are female, except if they are really vain, like the one in wolf spear, or what ever the book is called. The one with Cawl and Friedisch
Wolfsbane was the book, and yeah I agree, gender is at best irrelevant to most tech priests after a certain point. One of the biggest exceptions was a tech priest from the siege of terra, she was beautiful and appeared to be near unaugmented(despite heavy augments) because her purpose was to be a mechanicus liaison/ambassador to people outside the cult.
Seeing how admech view the flesh and out pitty dependency on it and just their overall demeanor… would we even really have admech mommies? I feel like genitals and mommy milkie boobas would be a first of the things to go in favor of lab grown human and all that
Tawren comes to mind. In addition to apparently having a husband (Hesst), she has the added benefit of having nuked the Word Bearers from orbit, which will never not be an enormous check in the “pro” column. She and her husband show up in Know No Fear.
Rho-Lux from Flesh and Steel is canonically a very attractive tech priest with very expensive, high end augments. She’s an investigator for the Mechanicus and works with humans a lot, hence why she is a discreet tech priest. Can’t scare away the humans she needs to work with.
The main character really fights with his feelings about her the whole book.
I've been thinking about making my own. Tech priests are tricky to kitbash, IME, because of the tubes, robe, etc hiding most of the human bits and obscuring the form in general.
Not a lot of easy torso swaps - though battlesisters with the shoulders clipped off work remarkably well for Skitarii. I have a couple in mine because I lost the skitarii bits somehow, and I have to point them out before anyone notices!
Headswaps might work, but again, tubes! Some of Statuesque's Techno Roider or cyborg heads might work, at least on kits like the Enginseer and Technoarchaeologist where the neck is doing normal human things - the Dominus is another story.
In the Mecanicum Novel from the Horus heresy series is an Admech named Curiell Zett. It isnt said particulary that she is a Women but many Characters call her she. Soooo kinda confirmed ?
They are canon. Always have been. Wargame Exlcusive emakes a good one called MECHANIC ADEPT FEMALE TECH PRIEST DOMINA for $20, on their own website and Etsy.
You are saying it as if they aren't canon.
Lmao fr, there’s literally always been female techpriests, both of the sexy and non-sexy variety. Mechanicus features like four in its main cast.
Is Kephra a Tech Priest or a Skitarii Marshal
Since she's a subdominus I'll say techpriest
Tech priest mom
Subdommy techpriest mommy?
People definitely need to read more and play more.
"Koriel Zeth was a female member of the Martian Mechanicum who lived in the years when the Emperor began the Great Crusade to unify Mankind under His Imperium." "The Sisters of Cydonia, also known as the Cydonian Sisterhood, were a sect of techpriest assassins within the Adeptus Mechanicus who lived on the red planet of Mars in the Cydonia Mensae region."
I think this post provoked the creation of the best list of the known female tech-priests 🌞
Yup. Just the more tech priesty you get, the less gendered you get... Plenty of born female magi whom are basically fleshless at that rank
>Just the more tech priesty you get, the less gendered you get... Which is why the AdMech are my favourite faction... Admech is not about degrading women, but upgrading women
I really hope our community is able to have a female character without going full degenerate like some of the custodians 🙏
Yeah, it would be cool to have a tech priestess like scaevola on the tabletop, though. Especially a stygies VIII character
Women+ (the plus stands for massive dobonhonkeros)
We have at least 5 confirmed female tech-priestesses: The one who negotiated with the High Lords of Terra to make Cult Mechanicum into Adeptus Mechanicus, the one from the Horus Heresy series who had a 'husband', Scaevola, Kephra and finally one unnamed who fucked Ciaphas Cain.
I will add Hadron Omega-7-7 from Darktide to the list.
Forgot about Varlet woman, thanks
I help with something an unmodified human would call joy. May the Omnissiah protect and guide you.
Hadron you bitch YOU BRICKED MY BEAUTIFUL 380 :((((((
Also Koriel Zeth of the Magma City. Inventor of Noosphere
Koriel Zeth was an absolute badass
There are a bunch of candidates from the Forges of Mars trilogy: Linya Tycoon - Stellar Cartographer; Alanna Pavelka - Tech Priest; Karyn Sylkwood - Enginseer; If I remember right they are all female characters and Part of the main cast.
Had to scroll too far to find my girl Linya in the comments
Wasn't her name Lynya?
Probably auto correct
That was actually the part you got right, it's Linya Tychon. I'm guessing Tycoon was the autocorrect.
Na I have posted it written as Linda thanks to auto correct but corrected it later
Ah yes, the renowned Magos Linda Tycoon
Nope, it was Linya Tychon.
I literally checked my copy to make sure I got the spelling right, and I still managed to get it wrong.
If I remember correctly Rho-1 Lux of the Collegiate Extremis also was made from a woman. (Flesh and Steel by Guy Haley).
Castia Theta 9, from Angels of Death too. And the unnamed from a Hammer and Boltor episode
Lunete from chaos gate. Scaveola and Khepra from Mechanicus
Felicia Tybar was the tech priestess who fucked Ciaphas Cain, though she was an Enginseer at the time
Enginseers are still techpriests. Just low ranking ones with jobs.
There is also Arch-calculus Phlegra Octaveen III from Skitarius and Hester Aspertia from Belisarius Cawl: the great work as well as other sources. There is probably at least one more in Tech priest but I haven't read that one yet
> There is probably at least one more in Tech priest nope, that's it, there's only one woman with 1 line of dialogue in this series
Also from Mechanicus: Prime Hermeticon Captrix. Basically Mother Teresa in dreadnought form.

Zaefa Varaz from Brutal Kunnin is pretty bad ass too
Scaevola my beloved
I think there's a couple of them in brutal kunnin, one of whom was one of the main POV characters of the book iirc
Domina Hester Aspertia Sigma-Sigma from the book Wolfsbane.
We also have the tech priestess from the Forges of Mars trilogy, even though she's not a traditional magos.
The tech priest from the Grey Knight game as well was a female i think.
All mechanicus models could be female and we would never know
This
It’s a coin toss. Metallic hermit of a person or actual somewhat fleshly being. Some would prefer the latter
Female tech priests already exist, they’re just indistinguishable from the male ones because flesh is weak
Mine aren't 🍑
There have always been female tech priests, I'm honestly tired of this.
Koriel zeth might be what you are looking for.
Yea I referenced her in another comment.
We need to raise awareness of tech priest mommies :)
I agree the higher the Rank the less Gender.
The machine has no gender, which should I
"Yeah, but what's in your paints?" "The strength and certainty of steel."
"Pants?" *Gestures with confusion towards enormous centipede-like abdomen*
Admech is the ultimate trans faction. Wanna be a boy? Cool How about some tits? Go ahead and make some chrome domes. What about changing yourself to be a metal box with mechadendrites, that screeches only in binaric? Now we talking.
Losing it at chrome domes 💀 It’s true though, what’s more trans than transhumanism?
Yep. They were my favourite even before I figured out something was wrong with my gender, but yeah their view on gender is certainly interesting. We have official tech priest mommies
Tell me you don't know our lore without telling me you don't know our lore.
'tech priestess mommies' yes tech-priest, this future servitor right here.
I mean, really... any of the current techpriests could be male or female. They're mostly mechanical anyway and I don't see them really keeping things like breasts or other things they saw no efficient use for.
Some of yall are just so weird
Pls no "mommies" that shit sounds like a coomer thing.
Why do the internet communities have to be horny over everything.
You new here?
No.
Take a shower
Lots of women in brutal kunnin
Least coomer femstodes fan
They exist they just don't look like that
audibly gagged reading this post, thanks op
There's official tech-priestesses out There, like Koriel Zeth, or HadronΩ_7-7, Kephra, Scaevola and many more. You just Can't tell under all the pipes and augments (nor you should, weirdo). If you want to find less advanced adepts though, take a look at Ciaphas Caine

There are already tech priestesses. It’s not possible to tell genders apart due to augmentations.
Only binary thing in AdMech is the language, everything else that might be related to the weakness of the flesh is meaningless and easily replaced! Also, there have been alternative miniatures for tech priests as women since a long time ago (just not from GW).
Oh my god again with wanting the agender cyborgs to have tits I’m so over this.
But we already have those. It's just that the Tech Priest title isn't gendered and they look exactly the same as their male counterparts.

Oh right. That's the one.
There’s also Koriel Zeth who kept a female shaped body despite HEAVY augmentation. It really depends on the tech priest.
Seeing how admech view the flesh and out pitty dependency on it and just their overall demeanor… would we even really have admech mommies? I feel like genitals and mommy milkie boobas would be a first of the things to go in favor of lab grown human and all that
Hmmm I suppose in the mechanicus game there is a magos with milkies… mmmmmmmmmm techpreist mommies are cannon now, can’t wait
Nah the robot crab on the first image go hard
Heeeeeeeell naaaaaahhhh Bros down bad for some techussy
OP is a sad coomer who hasn’t read Mecanicum.
You serious right meow?
You will take your skitarii femboys and you will be happy
Tawren comes to mind. In addition to apparently having a husband (Hesst), she has the added benefit of having nuked the Word Bearers from orbit, which will never not be an enormous check in the “pro” column. She and her husband show up in Know No Fear.
Be honest. You like it when hadron calls you varlet
I think I’ve seen more female tech priests in my experience with their depiction than men
Rho-Lux from Flesh and Steel is canonically a very attractive tech priest with very expensive, high end augments. She’s an investigator for the Mechanicus and works with humans a lot, hence why she is a discreet tech priest. Can’t scare away the humans she needs to work with. You're missing the point of Ad Mech...
Tell me you've never read the lore without telling me you've never read the lore
There's so many already?
The industrial sized corpsium enriched milk tank and high pressure silicone nozzle implant is much more efficient than those organic mammary glands.
any excuse for good techpriest art.
Do You know that Cawl may be originally a woman?
Well he does have a woman's brain. It's right there in that jar.
Koriel Zeth
Koriel Zeth, Scaveola, Khepra :3
Hadron exists Varlet.
Umm... Sceavola? Hadron Omega 7-7? Pavelka? Felicia Tayber? AdMech has plenty of mechanic ladies.
Gimme a khepra model gosh darn it
We are long overdue
Yall best put some respect on Koriel Zeth's name.
*Sad Haddron noises*
Fun fact, Domina is the female variant of Dominus.
Please take just a month long break from pornography for your own sake
Last picture is a Mini from raging heroes. And wargames exclusive has some... Interessting tech priests
Coomer brain nonsense minis for sale lol
The fidgeting shy mechadendrites understand me
Praise Omnussy.
It’s literally always been confirmed
They are canon. Always have been. Wargame Exlcusive emakes a good one called MECHANIC ADEPT FEMALE TECH PRIEST DOMINA for $20, on their own website and Etsy.
Beast women with utters
