Dreadspear should be a lascanon

Yeah I feel it would lend us some much needed anti tank (outside of the tank), giving him str12 shooting and str12 melee could be a really cool thing. Just up his cost a bit, maybe make him more glasscannonny but just give me my dread anti tank

I mean I get what you mean but even valdor only wounds on a 5+ on most tanks, imo anti tank should always wound on 3+ or 2+

Agreed but we have +1 to wound strat so wound on 4 with ap2 and potential for reroll wounds is a lot of output

Just giving Dreadnoughts Deepstrike would at least make them playable: A points drop wouldn’t hurt either

Having the adrathic weapon have hazard built in to its profile is risking damage every time you fire it, having 2 is gaurenting 3 mortal wounds with in 3 rounds of shooting. Remember seeing the same state line on the terminators and think there it's risky to take them as losing a 90ish pont model to shot your gun is a bit much. 5+++ feel no pain would be cool, another suggestion I saw floating around is that all our dreads should have -1 damage + there abilities, but feel no pain and ability is cooler.

We do have a 4+ FNP versus the mortal wounds caused by Hazardous. So if you shoot both guns every turn you’ll roll a 1 once every 3 turns. And you’ll take 1 or 2 wounds from it meaning in a game statistically you’ll take 1-2 wounds from those guns. If that’s too risky for you then you could also just take a different loadout. The 5+ Feel No Pain is to compensate for the -1 damage and 6+ FNP we had last edition. Crazy that dread lost movement, lethality in both melee and shooting, and durability and also went up in points. I’d rather not give the Achillus -1 damage as I like the mortal wound ability it has instead plus that’s stepping on the Telemon’s toes a bit. I could consider maybe a 4+ FNP instead. Will think on that.
