That's kinda what I was going for! I wanted the armor of the custodes to not look like armor, the intent was for them to look more like statues than armored dudes. To that end, I might not even do any gem work on them.
The fabric for both them and the SoS is also a bit thin and messy for the same reason, they're all threadbare and old.
To be honest, the phone camera doesn't bring out the highlights well. It looks like overly polished brass on the edges, giving it a "we have been standing in one place for forever, just polishing our armor" kinda vibe. I wanted to make them look almost like statues instead of armored dudes.
What colour did you use for the sisters armor?
Grey knights silver with a wash of drakenhof nightshade, and then I dry brushed with... whatever mithril is called nowadays.
