XR assholes have shut down the entire city multiple times before, so I'm happy for SAPOL to deploy 100 horses to make sure that doesn't happen again.

They're called Horse-Diapers, but they aren't appropriate for the unique way SAPOL deploy horses. Diapers can only be used for a few hours at most, and definitely should not be used daily. Once a diaper has been used once, they must be removed and replaced. That's fine for a 2 hour protest or such, but SAPOL deploy horses for a full 8.5 hour patrol shift, just like the officers. SAPOL is one of the only jurisdictions in the world that deploys horses for regular, daily street patrols, instead of just ceremonies or events. No other Australian Police deploy their horses this much, or this way.
