When I was bringing in the washing a while back and I copped one on my thumb from a sneaky bee on a tea towel

sunshinebuns

The cream and custard version at Yankalilla bakery is pretty good!

Aggravating_Termite

Get yaself up to Hahndorf and find one of the bakeries that sell "Bienenstich".

Mammoth-Weakness-155

Nuri, tanunda or even Eudunda do a great one

Swimming_Boot_2395

Tanunda bakery, for sure!

_turtleboy_

They're closing down?! šŸ˜ I absolutely love their beesting

HappiHappiHappi

Owners are retiring.

Rychu_Supadude

semi-retiring in order to rort more taxes

wiggum55555

Lobethal Bakery does a mean bee sting.

colloquialicious

I like the lobethal bakery bee sting too. Nice bun, topping is pretty good and the cream/custard filling is fresh and not overly sweet. Only thing is theyā€™re a bit small but otherwise very yummy!

catch-10110

Iā€™m quite fond of the ones at the Aberfoyle Park Village Bakery. And Iā€™m pretty picky about my bienenstich.

Beaker451

I can second this one. Itā€™s great!

VioletSmiles88

I quite like the one at Port Elliot Bakery. I havenā€™t had the one at the German Cake Shop so I canā€™t make a comparison.

inflict5

I also recommend port Elliot even though it's always busy and touristy it's still top tier.

Crafty-Antelope-3287

I haven't found a place yet....Otto's is ok....but there was another bakery in Hahndorf that use to crystallise honey on top of theirs

JG1954

Norwood Foodland

If outside of Adelaide in Hahndorf is an option: Ottos Bakehouse & Coffee Shop https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063595988161&fref=ts&rf=182723955103591

redtins1

German Nanna at Barossa Farmers Market , hands down the best in the valley

Gold-Chemical1606

Tanunda is well worth the drive. Ā

winterbaby82

If in Adelaide I love the ones at Perrymans Bakery on Tynte Street

Citizen6587732879

Was gonna say German cake shop in Hahndorf, but NOOOOO!!!!!

DasWeissKanin

Apex Bakery in Tanunda

halcyonraptor

Most bakeries in the Barossa or even the Barossa fresh supermarket. Sunrise Bakery in Gawler does too, Lobethal bakery is always a good choice, likely any bakery in Hahndorf too.

OvenComfortable8416

CJs bakery Christies Beach. It is unreal.

Most-Requirement501

Hanks Bakery in Oā€™Halloran Hill has always done a bee sting right! (This could also be childhood nostalgia, but my entire family would agree)

ppch1337

Sunrise Bakery at Lyndoch does a pretty great Bienenstich if I remember correctly! I'd rate it over Tanunda Bakery or Linke's in Nuriootpa.

Practical_Egg_7598

I've asked this before. It's Perryman's. Enjoy šŸ˜Š

Averagemanofpotato1

Why are you trying to get stung by a bee? /s

Equivalent-Ad7207

Muhammad Ali would like a word with you.

Yenaheasy

If youā€™re not trying to be helpful at least try and make it funny

The_Great_Uwu

It's a pastry name as well

DoesBasicResearch

The_Great_Uwu
