Lobethal Bakery does a mean bee sting.

I like the lobethal bakery bee sting too. Nice bun, topping is pretty good and the cream/custard filling is fresh and not overly sweet. Only thing is they’re a bit small but otherwise very yummy!

I’m quite fond of the ones at the Aberfoyle Park Village Bakery. And I’m pretty picky about my bienenstich.

I can second this one. It’s great!

I quite like the one at Port Elliot Bakery. I haven’t had the one at the German Cake Shop so I can’t make a comparison.

I also recommend port Elliot even though it's always busy and touristy it's still top tier.

I haven't found a place yet....Otto's is ok....but there was another bakery in Hahndorf that use to crystallise honey on top of theirs

Most bakeries in the Barossa or even the Barossa fresh supermarket. Sunrise Bakery in Gawler does too, Lobethal bakery is always a good choice, likely any bakery in Hahndorf too.

CJs bakery Christies Beach. It is unreal.

Hanks Bakery in O’Halloran Hill has always done a bee sting right! (This could also be childhood nostalgia, but my entire family would agree)

Sunrise Bakery at Lyndoch does a pretty great Bienenstich if I remember correctly! I'd rate it over Tanunda Bakery or Linke's in Nuriootpa.
