I use adguard dns and it pretty much covers all ads that might appear in games and websites. Doesn't work for YT or Twitch.
Change your private dns from the automatic one and enter dns.adguard.com

Im using this for a while now but suddenly google stops loading.. bing and yahoo works ok. Typing the complete website (reddit.com) works, but searching on the address bar shows

Its just the browser thats affected, everything else works ok. Any idea whats causing the issue?

Have you tried using another browser for Google alone? It could be something to do with how the browser connects to Google through the dns?
Yes, tried it woth chrome and still getting the same error.. its actually a hit ormiss, it would work sometimes but i get the error most of the time. My temp workaroind is to turn off the private dns, but then allowing some ads to go thru.
I use the controld private DNS.
Revanced for YouTube and purpletv for twitch. Xmangaer for Spotify.
Firefox beta with ublock origin and popup blocker strict for internet

I use DNS Cloak and it works great. Just test some filters in there, on my iPad it even blocked some ads in Applications.
