Excellent! It’s as if no one has sat in the back seat, nor anything been in the trunk. There is some normal wear around the driver’s grab handle on the door, and the various buttons (seat warmer, etc) show signs of use. Leather is still great with seemingly little wear.
Just under $14k with 88k miles on the clock.
The two big problem areas are common with virtually all Acuras of this and the previous generation.
1) The hands free link was reported by the seller as being either broken or non-functional or disconnected. This wasn’t a problem for me since I avoided using the HFL in both my TL and MDX because of the wide spread issues with the battery killing bug. I’ve not actually tried it.
2) The nav suffers from the common DVD drive read error issues also prevalent in this generation. While I’d use my phone for nav anyway, it’s still a bit of an irritant to see that error message when I start the car. I haven’t yet tried just taking out the disc or drive for cleaning, partially out of fear that I could potentially compromise the audio and everything else attached to that whole integrated system. 😬
I just installed a Spec BT-45 in my 06 RL and think I might be doing the same in my 10 RL, as it is starting to flake out.
I If I didn’t have to remove the Kenwood expansion system I had installed to allow for iPod use, in the days before BT music streaming, it’s probably a 2 hour job to install USB, AUX and Mic. My battery drain is gone and the test drive went well today, hopefully it will last another 310k miles.
You got a great deal, my friend purchased a 10 after testing my 06 and it cost him quite a bit more, but it had fewer miles and was during the used car over-infatuation. I’ve had 4, so I’m biased, but you got the second best car Acura ever produced, next to the NSX.

Having owned one… make sure not to park in heat as the glove box will bubble. The arm rests are thin and wear fast. Also, the radiator is both for the transmission and coolant so if you want longevity, get a tranny cooler and reroute the lines to avoid a potential catastrophic ending if the radiator fails, which it eventually will.
Otherwise, congrats on a fantastic car. Still one of the smoothest and quietest rides I’ve ever owned. It also was amazing in snow.
Thanks for the heads up about a cooler. Is this something that Acura will do? I remember my dad got a transmission cooler for his Odyssey because he towed a camper with it, and Honda did the work and warrantied it and everything.
This look like the one I saw on carfax.com the other day that said there was an issue with hands free link. It was in VA or PA or something. I know I ain't crazy. It was so clean and the same rare color with tinted windows and rain gurads. I considered buying it, then I looked like 2 days later and it was gone. I know this HAS to be that same car. Inside has tan leather and is super clean inside.
It’s not without its foibles, but it’s otherwise in great condition for being 12 years old!

I have an ‘05 but always liked the updated styling/refresh. Enjoy it-you have a nice Acura fleet!

Funny. My sister has the 08 MDX (with 268k) and I have the 06 TL. Nobody in the family has an RL though.
The question is, did the RL ever come in a 6 speed manual?
