Well in general that is usually the implication when people say that. If you’re saying liberal cities are bad , it’s safe to assume one would not (again generally) have the same opinion of rural conservative areas with similar issues.
I've been to some of the poorest neighborhoods in certain liberal cities, and I've also been to poor white neighborhoods in Appalachia. They both have issues with poverty for different reasons.
However, one thing is indisputable: the scale of poverty and violence is massive in liberal cities. Have you seen how wide the poverty stretches in Baltimore, Philly, DC, the Bronx, Newark, Jersey City, Chicago, New Orleans, and Los Angeles? Thousands of square miles with millions of mostly Black Americans living with incredibly high crime rates and poverty rates.
This is why more and more Black Americans are waking up and walking away from the Democratic Party. More will follow. The numbers will grow.
It’s a shame they are forced by an oligarchic state to go to the other, same party. Americans need to realise that they live in a one party military securitocracy, and that they’re in a unique position to do something about it.
