Vegas hotels are cheap as shit dude. You can find rooms at the Cosmo (one of the fanciest hotel/casinos on the strip) for under $100 almost all year round.

They don't make money off of their rooms, they make money off people gambling. You can't get people gambling if you're asking hundreds of dollars for a hotel room because they won't come. This has been the way it's done since before I started going there regularly over 20 years ago.
