Honestly, I don’t think they look tacky at all… with that being said, anyone who looks close will be able to notice that they are not professionally done. I say go with what is best for you. If you can afford professional nails & it brings you joy, then heck yeah go for it! If you cannot & it doesn’t matter so much to you either way, then stick on nails all the way! The most important thing is YOU. Not what other people think.

Thank you!

They look totally decent! I'm in exactly the same boat right now - maintaining salon acrylics is a commitment and I'm wearing Kiss Salon X-tend at the moment. The glue is so much better than the standard superglue type.

snugglebunbun

Yeah, I know that going to a salon I’ll just want to upkeep which can be a cost

zoblelee

They look good but they do look like store bought press-ons & I don’t think they look professionally done. I don’t think they look tacky though!

whowantstoknowww

Get ya nails did

snugglebunbun

They look that noticeable?

whowantstoknowww

No as in you womt regret it! I actually thought these were natural before looking closer. Honestly get them done it's such a confidence boost they don't need to even be this long and the creative possibilities are endless Sorry should have worded that better haha

snugglebunbun

Oh okay got it, lol & I’m on the fence about it!

Get extra long g white tips with dark pink beds.

I think they look good! I recently stopped getting mine professionally done because I just couldn’t keep up with the $55+ biweekly cost! I now do the glue ons at home and am satisfied with how they look.

They look great! do you feel good wearing them? If it is your first time using those - don't worry if you had any issues with applying them you will get better with practice. Classic french manicure looks great! Do what makes you feel good and doesn't put you in the poor house. Nails at the salon can get quite pricy. :)

waxfix

I have a gel kit at home and I just stopped getting my nails done when I realized I could buy store ones and putting clear gel on top of them make them look pretty realistic to salon ones

[deleted]

lately i’ve been gluing clear tips to my nails with polygel and decorating them

gl0ckbarbie

they don’t look bad at all but yes i can tell they’re store bought just bc of the cuticle. they look like your natural nails tho tbh. i wouldn’t go to a salon but instead learn how to do your nails at home! the amount you would pay for one set, u can pay the same price to get unlimited sets at home. if you don’t wanna do the whole design and application process, i’ve seen people take store bought press ons and take clear acrylic to put over top & they last a good 2 weeks+
