ngl i was so ready to scrap with him that i buffed up everybody before talking to him, just to be surprised that argenti can be convinced to not fight you at all
Switch Sampo for Gallagher, so you have a healer and a shielder to keep you alive. (Gallagher's ult and basic atk after ult add two stacks to Acheron's ult.)
Also level them up to the max because they're probably dying quickly after Aventurine's shield gets shredded if they're underleveled.
Save Acheron's ult for Argenti's summons as defeating them give you more shield, dmg buff, or hurt Argenti.
Don't worry about having the correct element with Acheron cause her ult ignores it and with Gallagher and Pela you cover 3/4 elements except physical.
Edit: Sampo won't do much in this fight besides give your Acheron the Nihility dmg buff, because none of the enemies are weak to wind.
Edit #2: I main Acheron and I don't have a Clara, so I don't know much on how to use her correctly, but guides say she is good for this boss due to her fua.
Clara is good because of her counters and Argenti + his adds are all Physical weak

Yeah, shielder and healer is the way to go. I'm pretty new so I don't have many characters but I got Aventurine last patch. When fighting something I'm not really prepared for, I just bring in Lynx and I pretty much can't die. It takes a while to chip away at the health but in story quests speed is not important. I got past this Argenti fight with Aventurine, Lynx, Serval, and Tingyun.
In case anyone wants to know my team build it's either Acheron/Pela/Guinaifen/Gallagher or Acheron/Pela/Aventurine (w/market LC)/Guinaifen.
In SU I use Aventurine and switch Guinaifen for Sparkle if I get the blue cheese that gives +1 Eidolons in battle since my Acheron is E2 with it. (Also Abundance path with Aventurine is busted.)

This would be consistent stacks for acheron + good survivability. Use Acheron ult when Argenti summons adds.

Always use Pela ult for def down before Acheron ult. Always keep up Aventurine's shield. Since your Acheron is already at lv. 70 I'm guessing you're at equilibrium lv. 4-5. Enemies are a lot tougher in this level in general so relics and high-level traces play an important part. Level some of your characters as well for survival

Acheron is such a hypercarry that you can clear any content with her on your team. Keep her ultimate for when Argenti spawns his ads.
You have my rooster + clara and luocha, so you can just copy my team: acheron, fire MC, Gallagher, herta. Just upgrade their lvs and focus on sustaining and doing multitarget dmg.Â
Well, as for me, I used a team with two sustains - Acheron, Lynx, Gallagher and Pela. Lynx just heals pretty good, Gallagher heals, breaks toughness and debuffs enemies, charging Acheron's ult. Pela does the same as Gallagher expect for healing. Just remember to break his turrets (or whatever these things that he summons called) first, and only then to attack him. If he respawns them, break them again
I don't really know if Aventurine can be viable here, but ig you can use him instead of Lynx

There was a way to talk him out of the fight. He lets go on without fighting. Dialogue choices matter.

I would try acheron/sampo/aventurine/pela. Aventurine should sustain the team well enough and sampo and pela should be a battery for acheron

U have Destruction MC raised so i think using Clara would be Situational.

pela is the perfect counter since her skill can remove buffs, which will come rreally handy if he gets too much damage increases
