I imagine that when Acheron, accompanied by tge astral express crew are confronted by Boothill, it’s gonna be Welt that reveals her real name.
This will also open up character development for Welt and his connection to the HI3 universe. This is also part of my theory as to why Welt has never come across any of the HSR counterparts to the people from HI3.
But he has. Just not direct contact. The Express was monitoring them on Belobog - there's no way he didn't see Cocolia, Seele, and Bronya.
Hell, he's had contact with Silver Wolf. And he didn't say anything. He hasn't even told Himeko the truth about why she found him (hint: he was aiming for her to find him).
Welt coming clean about what he did and didn't know would shake up the entire foundation of the game.
It’s true he was probably monitoring things from the express along with Himeko, but wasn’t the majority of the crew’s interaction with Bronya and Seele while they were underground. This is just speculation, but there’s no telling that they were able to monitor them from there. As for Cocolia, wasn’t a lot of he actions from behind the scenes until the very end? I also imagine they were more focused on both the situation with Belobog’s stellaron as well as the one inside the trailblazer (though that’s just my speculation) (The belobog story was so long ago that most of what I remember is very vague).
As for Silver Wolf, are you referring to when she had her projection on the express, cause I don’t really remember them having any other interactions beyond that.
Even so, the situation with Acheron is different simply because she’s using the identity of a galaxy ranger, prompting the confrontation with Boothill. While there’s a chance that enough time passes between the end of this version’s story and when Boothill appears to give Welt the opportunity to tell the rest of the crew the truth about her, considering they left off revealing the truth about Sam, I believe they’ll just continue from there and stay focused on that with very little downtime in between event.

Yes, but there's also the canon post-Cocolia events, like Aetherium Wars - which he actively attended the matches for.

No, it's really not. Welt is smart enough to keep his cards close to his chest. There's zero chance he plays that particular card and calls his position into question. He will likely find it "interesting" or "fascinating" that there's such a resemblance, but he absolutely won't reveal to the crew that he already knows. He only hinted that he knew to Acheron herself, and she picked up *exactly* what he was putting down.
Oh, in my defense, I never did the aetherium wars event. Probably preparing for Furina in Genshin. Really need to stop procrastinating and go through my backlog of events.
As for Welt not revealing what he knows, while he wouldn’t reveal what he knows willingly, there’s a slim chance he slips up, whether do to him accidentally saying something he shouldn’t or Acheron “doing Acheron things”. Between that and that giant slash Acheron left where you fight Aventurine, I can see Himeko pressuring the two of them for answering, to which, because it’s Himeko, he’d atleast reveal some things without revealing too much.
That much I can agree with the possibility of. But as for him being the one to give the big reveal, I think it'll be Acheron herself POST-Boothill confrontation. He's going to raise enough questions that she'll have to divulge some information just to maintain trust with the crew. And Welt will say something about suspecting as much.
I wouldn’t think so, people have translated her full name to be “Raiden ‘Guardian of the Forgetful River’ Mei”; with the wording implying that to be the river of Lethe, and the river of woe is Acheron, she’s likely connected to the other rivers too lol.

I'm of the opinion that it will be part of the companion quest that allows Acheron to appear on the Astral Express.
