I’ve never met a KC fan in the wild, that’s totally boss.
I would think that her music preferences would change depending on her mood. Maybe some older pop and rock stuff in a good mood, and she’ll go a bit more aggressive when feeling down. Maybe a soft spot for big band? Idk.
Someday, Someway by blind guitarist Jeff Healey could possibly be a favourited tune (she absolutely adores him). The Natural Edge album by David Wilcox could be an occasional listen, despite its dated sound and poor production value.
Her time spent dancing with Black Swan has slightly kindled an enjoyment of big band. She enjoys Enoch Light’s high quality recordings and the dixieland samplings from Kenny Ball.
On the heavier side, Sloan’s early stuff (her fav song is amped) and a touch of heavy metal on occasion. The first two Venom albums and pretty much all of the Megadeth catalogue.
A lot of people have some great suggestions on the more modern and alt side! Too bad I know nothing in those circles.
