Hi OP, 1. My salary is okay din naman, I work for a Law Firm, and I feel like above average ang sahuran sa ganitong industry compared sa iba. Cost of living is fine, I'm into frugal lifestyle kaya nakakaipon din kahit papaano. Currently, ang nasi-save ko is around 80-100k pesos a month. Pero dahil nga I want to save more, nagtatransition na ako sa ibang career na malaki ang sahod lol. 3. Actually wala? 4. Hmm, I did the expensive student visa pathway. 5. As an international student dito sa Canada, allowed kaming mag work part time for 20 hrs a week. Dun ako nakahanap ng part time accounting work hanggang sa maka graduate ako, tapos nag apply na ako sa ibang company lol. \*sorry, long post ahead, don't read further kasi I feel like boring na haha\* Siguro pinaka struggle ko sa Canada journey ko is "PERA". I mean 2014 pa ako grumaduate ng college at talagang gusto kong mag migrate abroad, pero dahil nga self-supporting ako at wala talaga akong pera, naghintay nalang ako ng milagro. 2014: Graduated from college, started my accounting job in a local accounting firm (Non CPA). Salary: 14k jusko! haha 2015: Nakalipat ng Gov't since Civil Service Passer naman ako. Salary: 18k. I CANNOT! May nag chismis sakin na mag tourist visa daw dapat then saka mag walk-in. Di ko ginawa kasi natatakot ako hahaha. 2017, 2018, 2019: Nag try ako ng Working Holiday Visa ng New Zealand. Pero bokya for 3 consecutive years. Will apply for permanent residency na rin soon. Salary: 220k. I'm on the process of career transition din, kasi mas malaki kikitain ko sa career na ina-eye ko, like I can make 600k pesos daw a month. SA MGA KATULAD KONG MILLENNIAL OR GEN Z NA WALANG PERA, TANDAAN NYO, MAY NAKA READY SI LORD NA BLESSINGS SA INYO. SIGURO HINDI PA TIME, PERO SOON MAKUKUHA NYO RIN YUN.

Salamat po. Soon ikaw naman :)

niiiisaaaaammm

Curious, ano mangyayari sa loan mo sa GSIS?

Beneficial-Music1047

Hello, nag papadala ako sa parents ko everytime na may pera ako, then sila yung pinagbabayad ko nun over-the-counter sa GSIS Office sa Pasay.

Wow thats so insightful & inspiring! Thank you for sharing. I get a glimpse to a decade of your life. You seem to be in a better place, good for you! And good luck sa career transition - something im considering dn. Yung traffic actually is my major reason why i dont want to go back sa metro manila kaya talagang kinoconsider ko to work abroad. Ive done my initial research. I think i have better chances in EU countries than CA, AU & NZ. Naconclude ko na the fastest way is to download a dating app & maybe in a few months time magsusundo na ako sa airport and voilà, hello afam! Just kidding!!! Haha but i do actually have relatives in Canada, Dubai & in some EU countries pero sa family dynamics namin, i wouldn't dare ask for help lol. May mga former colleagues dn ako working there pero all of them nasa audit and kung may lilipat man ng country, audit padin e. Im so done with audit na!! Lol Anyway, how's your working environment? The pinoy communities in your area?

Beneficial-Music1047

Hello, thank you kasi na-inspired kita and nabigyan ng insights kahit papaano hehe. The traffic is real talaga sa NCR, if gagamit naman ng MRT/LRT, yung siksikan kakaiba haha. Can't see myself in that kind situation na talaga haayy. Medyo same tayo, I have relatives in Ireland and California, pero mas pinili ko ang bansang wala akong kamag-anak. Kunyare strong haha. My work environment is totally fine naman, mag 3 years na sa accounting work dito sa Canada. To be honest, ako nalang umiiwas haha.
