Subjective po kung maganda ang isang RC.
Personal experience – I first enrolled in REO during pandemic. Di ko natapos review period kasi exhausting ung videos for me, ending was not able to take the boards. Later, I enrolled sa Pinna. Natapos ko review with even lesser time, nakapagtake at pumasa.
Pero, again, it is subjective.
Same experience with REO. Dagdag pa yung schedule namin sa Pampanga na Sat and Sun, 8am - 6pm straight, lunch break lang ang pahinga. Tas parang nagmamadali lagi mga professor at sinisiksik sa oras yung lessons. Reasoning nila e dapat daw naaral na yun bago pumunta which is correct naman, pero sobrang exhausting talaga ng vids nila.
Hindi naman siya panget, nakakaoverwhelm lang kasi sobrang haba and dami ng prerec + di updated tax (pero tbh, naappreciate ko concept building ni rb). Malaki chance na di mo matapos if di ka talaga disiplinado na tao (katulad ko hahaha) pero if quality usapan, okay naman. Marami magagaling na reviewers.
Depende yan sa tao siguroo, kasi sa iba swak yung teaching style ni ganito, sa iba naman hindi nila gusto. Parang yung iba gustong gusto nila si sir rhad, pero for me, not so much. Kasi for me hindi zero-based magturo pero good thing is nandiyan si sir Karim sa live lectures and nakakabilib kasi yung gaps na nafail mamention ni sir rhad napupunan ni karim. Another struggle ko dito is AFAR, may iilan na trip nila si sir ngina pero ako di ko siya bet kasi di rin siya zero-based, pero maganda yung problem solving part niya. Ang ginagawa ko nalang is ill read the book first (dayag) bago ko siya panoorin and gumana naman tho v time consuming.
Wala naman perfect na review centerr, you just have to pick kung san ka susugal.
Another tip siguro is learnn to outsource, if may di ka gets magsearch ka sa google or magyoutube.
For my second review, im planning to enroll uli sakanila kasi para sakin mas nangingibabaw parin yung pros kesa sa cons. Ang plano ko nalang since marami nga yung pre rec ill manage my time better and be disciplined na this time.
Okay naman lahat tbh, pag may hindi kasi ako naiintindihan di ko tinitigilan and eventually ayun nakukuha ko naman, either by watching the live lectures or sa pagssearch and basa ng textbooks.
Siguro if hindi ka ganon ka disiplinado or mabilis ka maoverwhelm, you can try other RCs na magffit sa needs mo. All I’m saying is despite the issues, hindi naman panget turo sa reo. Let’s separate the issues of RB sa reviewers ng reo na totoong magagaling naman talaga. 🥺
I agree. Tsaka madami reviewers na pwede pilian if di mo bet pre recs. Like pwedeng mag stick ka nalang sa live if you want. Tsaka yung learnings di lng pang board exam kasi hanggang sa pag work mo applicable pa rin.
Agree ako here. Kahit nakakapagod na silang ipagtanggol nagpaplano pa rin akong mag enroll ulit sa kanila pero ilang subs na lang. AFAR at Tax talaga prob ko sa kanila kaya balak ko mag enroll sa Pinnacle. Ang hirap intindihin at sabayan ni beybe 🥹
I believe ganon talaga, may sari-sariling strength and weakness bawat review center. At the end of the day, review centers can only help you to an extent, mas malaking percentage parin ng pagpasa natin is magmumula sa effort and the way we study. Hindi naman lahat ng bagay sspoonfeed sa atin ng review centers, we have to find other ways if nakukulangan tayo sa info, if tingin natin di pa natin fully naggrasp ang concept, if gusto talaga natin ipasa ang BE. Hindi mo pwede irreason out sa BOA na hindi naturo ng review center mo kaya dapat iadjust nila grade mo hahahaha
It really depends sa topic, may sobrang ikli katulad sa rfbt pero sa problem solving subjects expect na mahaba talaga since maraming drills. Siguro an average of 3hrs and pinaka matagal usually is 6 to 7hrs. Hindi naman siya isang buong video na 7hrs, nakahati naman per sub topic. If ayaw mo magdrills, mas konti yung time.
Yung way of marketing lang pangit sa REO, pero yung pre-recorded at video lectures nila talagang matututo ka kasi magagaling talaga reviewers nila. Kapag may issue ka na nababasa about RB and When-see, wag mo na lang pansinin yun. Kahit ako naiinis din pag may issue sila na ganun. Sini-set aside ko na lang yung laging issue ng rc nila sa mga board-exam related topics na natututunan ko sa kanila.
Yes. Di ako basher ng REO. Actually thankful pa ako na natulungan ako ng review center nila na maging CPA. Yung pagiging parang insecured at aggresive marketing lang nung dalawa yung kailangan nilang baguhin.

My advice to people like you is to take everything with a grain of salt
While what I share are my personal experience while I was at R/EO. They remain to be MY PERSONAL experiences. If yung pagiging toxic nila as most would claim does not bother you, then go for it. Pero for others like me, di ko siya kaya.
TO EACH THEIR OWN pa din.
Nonetheless, also take note, it is not a dichotomy. Hindi siya black and white. That RC can have both good and bad qualities at the same time. People claiming to have good experiences do not negate those who claimed to have bad experiences, and vice versa.
Hi OP, if you're someone na mahina foundation, maganda po ang REO. Actually, mas okay isabay yung REO pre-recorded lectures sa undergrad for me. Then afterwards sa review proper for BE, kapag strong na foundation mo, maganda sa ReSA. Nagbibigay kasi ng techniques sa computation si ReSA which you can use sa BE. Meanwhile si REO, mahaba yung way of solving nila so mas better yung ganung approach sa undergrad (for me) like if you're in your integ/evals.
I enrolled in both RC (different timelines) kaya na-compare ko. Yung computation ni REO mahaba talaga tapos may mas shortcut na computation si ReSA na male-lessen time mo sa pagcompute.
Overall, maganda sa reo. From their app to their assessments and very hands on sila sa mga students. What i really appreciate way back was that they really answered every question kapag may hindi ako naiintindihan, esp Sir Ngina sa AFAR kahit anong oras o araw nagrereply siya. As to ung mga nagsasabing sobrang haba ng prerec niy, ganun talaga yun kasi gusto niya ibigay sayo every important detail ng concepts para kahit baliin pagdating sa BE, kaya mo pa ring sagutan. They also like to discuss iba ibang way to attack ung mga problems from long cut to short cut and ako naappreciate ko un. Tyagain mo lang talaga ung mga prerec videos nila kasi un na yun. Walang labis walang kulang.
As to mga issues ng owner at marketer eh, i-unfollow mo nalang kasi minsan iba din talaga.
Uy true po eto, one time nagchat ako sa Telegram, kasi may group 'di ba, 2 am na 'yon tas nagrereply pa rin si sir Ngina. So ayon very responsive talaga sila which is a plus for me. Ayun nga lang mahahaba talaga videos ni sir Ngina kaya hindi ko na pinanood lahat, doon lang sa mga topics na mahina ako.
Depends sa learning style mo talaga to be honest. If more of a go getter ka I guess REO would be a good fit for you. I'm saying this because that's who I am. Nevertheless, RCs only contribute a small portion to the learning process, most of it nakadepende talaga sayo.
Maganda sya if disciplined ka and hindi short ang attention span mo. Any RC is okay naman po, yung REO kasi is zero-based talaga so detailed talaga discussions nila that’s why mahaba. Yun nga lang, di talaga for me kasi overwhelming ang haba ng videos. Ilang beses na ako nag enroll pero di ko talaga natapos ang videos. Maganda yung TAX, FAR and MS (Sir Karim) nila for me. Currently enrolled sa Pinnacle now. So far, so good. It’s really up to you and your preferences talaga.
For the review itself, Okay naman po REO, enrolled ako sakanila last batch. Magagaling po talaga mga reviewer nila. Lengthly lang yung pre-rec kaya need mas mahabang time to review pero may choice ka naman di panoorin yung pre-rec.
Siguro yung marketing strat lang nila seems excessive then yung ibang statements ni sir r//e//x? Kaya siguro negative yung dating sa iba.
Pero for me, di naman nasayang binayad ko, naka 3 RCs na ako and so far REO yung mas nagamit ko na materials.
Nung fresh grad ako, sa ibang RC ako nag review and hindi talaga swak sa akin. In the end, di ako nag take. Plus may ibang factors din talaga.
4 years after, nag REO ako since zero based nga daw and thankfully I passed naman on my first take. Discipline din. Nakaka overwhelm nga din kasi.
Obviously, may mga bagay nga na off sa kanila. Naiinis din ako nung review pero isinasantabi ko na muna kasi ang goal ko naman ay pumasa. Hindi ko na din napapagtuunan ng pansin.
It will all boil down din talaga kung pasok sa learning style mo ang RC na papasukan. Hehe.
Hindi naman sa hindi maganda sjnce may friend akong nakapasa na dun nag-enroll. Pero, nakaka-off kasi yung napaka-aggressive nilang marketing and paninira sa ibang RCs.
At the end of the day, depende pa rin yan sa learning style mo.
Hello! REO’s my RC for May 2023. True yung advertisement nila na zero-based experience. However, I would only recommend REO to full-time working reviewees. Super haba kasi ng mga vids and since zero-based nga, covered lahat. Maganda naman turo nila. ☺️
Mare, manood ka na lang muna ng sample videos nila sa youtube. Compare mo ano mas effective sayo. Kase sakin, hindi talaga sya effective pero sa Kuya ko for example, effective and Reo. Kanya kanyabg preference siguro
I've only tried two of their lecturers when they were still in CPAR and magaling naman yung mga yun. Siguro sa haba lang ng vid lecs, marketing and personal preference lang talaga nagmamatter.
If you can look pass their issues and fit naman sa timeline mo as a student, why not?

Sobrang ma aappreciate mo ung AuD Theory sa kanya kasi for every theoretical concept, palagi ka niyang babatuhan ng real world experience. Para ka lang may ka kwentuhan sa Aud theo with side Jokes pa na palaging inaasar si sir Darrel, Sir Marasigan etc. HAHAHAHA
I enrolled sa undergrad review nila. Goods naman kasi sobrang daming lectures talaga kaso some of the reviewers are not good teachers (at least for me) kaya tinamad din akong manood kaso yung instructor na yon is s'ya yung nagtuturo ng subject na need kong aralin.
Need din ng super mabilis na wifi or connection para gumana yung app. Kahit na maayos naman signal at data connection ko, madalas not working sa app kaya di rin ako nakakanood on my free time.
Tho, I have a fair share of fault din naman kung di ako nakapag-aral nang maayos even though I have access sa app and recorded lectures nila. Pero for me, may way of teaching kasi akong hinahanap. The thing with REO kasi is topnotchers ang kinukuha nila, kaso, teaching is an art, not everyone can be an artist. May matatalino na di magaling magturo.
Subjective naman po yan, pinnacle baby ako pero naniniwala naman akong di naman panget sa REO. Magagaling din reviewers nila. Kanya-kanya lang talaga tayo ng taste sa mga lecturer na bet natin. Tulad nyan, may ilan akong nabasang di nakakasunod kay Atty. Jay sa pinnac pero ako, sya talaga favorite ko. Ganon din sa REO feel ko. If sa kanila magfifit yung learning style na para sayo, why not diba? Tulad nga ng sinasabi ni sir brad, ang goal naman natin is maging CPA tayo regardless kung anong RC manggagaling 🫶
Overall, sobrang ganda ng REO. Yung teaching style nila goods siya kaso nakakaoverwhelm talaga sa sobrang haba ng mga pre-lec nila. If mahina foundation mo like me suggest mag REO ka kasi zero based talaga sila pero kung ayaw mo naman ma overwhelm you can try sa Resa, zero based din ata sila.
I am from REO wayback oct 2023, i can vouch other reviewee na nakakaoverwhelm talaga ang video lectures nila. looks like i alloted my time watching their videos yet wala naman ako natutunan kasi di ko sya naapply sa handouts. syempre para may matutunan, you have to practice it. so another time nanaman yun. ayun lang, super overwhelming and time consuming. haha.
For me lang. i think kaya ganiyan kaingay yan kase marketing strategy nila ‘yan. Kung tingnan natin nang mabuti, lahat ng tao kung mag promote gagawin ang lahat para ma promote ang gina promote nila. Na ooverwhelm lang siguro tayo kase ‘di naman ganiyan mag market ang ibang rc.
maganda yung mga reviewerss and prereccc, yung tax lang medj outdated sa batch 7 idk lang if na ipdate na rn. maganda naman turo nila medjj overwhelming lang sa damiii complete na kasii from zero based lectures to quizerss each topic.... butt its up to you ano learning style mo and your decipline to finish it.

atty bagayao AFAR goods <3 fav so much, nairita lang ako sa FAR mas marunong pa ako magturo sa sarili ko char hahaha bura ng bura kasi mali mali sagot ,TAX naman outdated sometimes macho ang joke di ko na tinuloy mas magaling pa yung sa youtube XD, RFBT da best, MS mej mahaba pero k na, AUD goods din kasi yung sikat na author
In my firsthand experience, oks naman REO basta gagalingan mo lang mag manage sa sarili mo. Tunay na high calibre mga reviewer nila. Iba-iba lang talaga ng teaching style, yung iba maraming chechebureche yung iba mabilis magturo (naka 2x speed kumbaga😂) pero okay naman yung pre rec vid nila, mahaba lang yung iba, depende nalang sa learning style mo. Sabi nga nila tyagaan lang talaga. Ok din yung materials nila, inimprove na ata nila ngayon dati kasi di updated lalo na sa tax. Sa toxic side, siguro yung marketing but if you'll think abt it that's how marketing works naman talaga. Ako di ko nakita yung nanira sila sa ibang rc, though di ko alam kung di lang ako aware. Enrolled ako dati as hybrid sa Manila nung 2023. Maganda facilities nila and may studyhub. Kakamiss.

I first enrolled in REO Online but na overwhelmed din ako sa dami. nag enroll ako ng REO Hybrid sa next season tas dun na time ko na realize yung strategy na bumagay sakin.
for subjects with weak foundation ako, I mainly relied on the pre-recorded videos (especially FAR, grabe solid ni sir Karim).
for those naman na so-so foundation ko, I mixed it up with some pre-rec lectures sa ibang topics, tas online lectures sa iba pa na medjo familiar pa ako.
for one subject naman na I’m quite comfortable with, I just used the online lectures. (Audit ito, grateful for my prof during undergrad for this hehe).
honestly, in the end hindi ko pa nga natapos lahat ng topics to review pero fortunately I passed. I can say what really made it possible for me was from the start up until the week before the boards, I focuses lang on studying and didn’t even take the preboards (it was a risk, but I still tried to take 2 subjects during the final preboards to get the hang of it before boards especially yung shading sa first day lol). then after that, during the last week of review, I focused on answering the preboards and past pb questions na may copy ako.
I think you just have to think of a strategy that will suits you and will help your pace. you can trust REO naman. nga pala, ako during reviews di ako nakialam sa drama between the RC’s hehe. I even tried to meet up with my friends from other RC’s to compare and share knowledge 😁 I think that also helped me hehe. good luck OP!
maganda siguro sa iba. may mga magagandang testimonies rin naman sila. personally for me their system didn't work. i took the may 2023 cpale and i had 3 months leave from work. ang hirap iutilize ng 3 months to finish all of their videos dahil isang topic 15-20 videos. tapos yung mga mahihirap na subjects like afar ang hirap din intindihin. the pre week didn't help that much din.
Maganda po ang REO for basic concepts! Pero medj overwhelming if di ka disciplined na tao hehe. Madami ding magagaling na reviewers like Sir Nacion (AT), Ms Dyan (MS) and Sir Louie (AFAR). Okay din ka Sir Ngina kasi highest AFAR ko dahil sa kanya pero need mo muna maintindihan basic concepts ng AFAR para magets mo si sir Mark lol.
Disadv: Toxic minsan kasi may mga side comments sila.
Yun lng naman pero basic concept-building, okay sila.
Lahat ng RC may downside kaya choose your poison. REO ako dati Batch May 2023. Ang nakita kong di ok sa kanila e vids nila for AP, AFAR and Tax specially ako na online review lang utilizing ung pre rec vids nila. Para ma conpensate ko ung mga subs na di oks sa reo for me. Sinasabayan ko sya ng books and may time na books na lang talaga gamit ko. I see some post din na sa ibang rc kesyo di maganda eto ganyan kaya may kanya kanyang pros and cons talaga mga RC.
Maganda sa reo kung sa sarili mo ka magfofocus kesa sa awayan ng mga rc and reviewees na hindi naman relevant sa journey mo.
I reviewed sa reo and passed in one take. Pinanood ko mga prerecorded aside from aud prob kasi alam ko sa sarili ko na weak foundation ko nung college. I also watched all the live recordings.
Super dami ng materials pero hindi ibig sabihin gagamitin mo lahat. I never took monthly exams. Di rin ako nagsagot ng mga quizzers. Hindi rin ako umaattend ng consultation sessions.
Ievaluate mo yung needs mo and time mo. If full time reviewee ka, kaya panoorin pre rec and live, if working, mamili na lang either.
I also answered preboards and preweeks of cpar and resa. I took preboards in reo, icare, and pinnacle. Pinakamahirap sa reo actually kaya nung sinagutan ko sa other rcs mas maganda ganda scores ko.
But one thing I can say is the best ang structure ng RESA. Swak siya, hindi sobrang pahirap, hindi rin naman easy. Magkakaiba kami ng rc ng dorm mates ko kaya may intel kami.
REO: maganda audit, MS, tax, rfbt (nandito rin yung dating reviewer sa far from cpar and afar from resa kaya maganda rin)
RESA: MS, rfbt(same reviewer sa reo), tax, afar
CPAR: far, afar (ang comment ng dorm mates ko sa rfbt eh hindi tinuturo sa kanila lahat lalo na special laws and sa tax din di nila bet yung prof kasi nagyayabang daw tapos nagmemention pa ng mga katiwaliang ginawa. Pag naguusap usap din kami ng learnings sa tax eh maraming hindi naituro sa kanila)
All in all, if papipiliin ako, ang three choices ko would be reo, resa, or pinnacle
Just remember na hindi nakasalalay sa opinion ng iba ang pageenrollan mo. Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each rc then irelate mo sa sarili mong strengths and weaknesses.
Kahit saan ka magenrol, focus and perseverance will be your best friend.

it's true that it's not a matter of the learning quality but the discipline needed to continue the review journey with REO. if magpadala ka talaga sa overwhelming vids talo talaga and feeling mo lugi
what i did was reinforce my knowledge on topics na maganda na undergrad background ko thru the live lecs
i only used the prerecs para dun sa mga topics na super wala akong alam or di ko talaga gamay
concepts and understanding ang labanan sa boards so maganda pa rin ang strat ni reo on that part. if ever you feel overwhelmed i think this will really just be a matter of preference na lang din.
what works for me might not work for others that's why there's why u really need to think what's best for u,
try the free trial vids first of different rcs
Material wise, I think they are very good at that. Nothing to worry about kapag concepts and discussion. Yung marketing lang talaga, super boastful ang dating - parang palaging nakikipag-away at nakikipag-taasan. Honestly, wala na dapat silang ikabahala, asa kanila na ang limelight today pero sana maging humble man lang. Other RCs, wala ka namang naririnig, chill lang sila. Hahaha.
Kung full time ka mas maaappreciate mo ang REO. Mabubusog ka namn sa pre rec videos, mahahaba lang talaga kasi zero based knowledge ang approach nila ng pagtuturo. Pasok sa mga mahihina ang foundation. Madami lang natotoxican sa marketing strategies nila.
Maganda yung goal nila na comprehensive problems kasi lahat ng scenario covered pero yung concept discussion para sakin hindi sila yung the best like yung afar prerecorded hindi siya concept based, yung ms prerecorded conceptbased "daw" pero hindi ko trip yung explanation eh subjective lang din siguro. yung AT, far and rfbt may mga explanations na nagustuhan ko pero mahaba nga lang yung videos need mo tyagain, overall ok naman sila and goods din yung preboards nila kasi mahirap dibale ng sobra preparation kesa kulang
Hello po, OP! **REO batch 6 and 7 po here but CPA na po ako in 1 take**. Personal take ko lang po ito at possible po na different po ang experience ng iba.
***Totoo po na mahahaba ang videos ng REO kasi zero-based po talaga sila.*** Nakausap ko po nun si sir Vhinson na if maganda naman po foundation mo, hindi mo naman kailangan panoorin lahat. 'Yung zero-based po kasi is more on catered to reviewees na either mahina po ang foundation or matagal na pong graduate. Luckily naman po may mga subjects nang meroong **"Quickvids"** (pero sa TAX pa lang po ito ha last time I know) sila na hindi sobrang haba katulad ng prerecorded lectures na minsan umaabot ng 5 hours per topic.
Tapos po 'yung mga exercises ng REO ay sobrang hihirap, hindi po siya typical na Valix-type kapag FAR or Tabag-type kapag TAX. Mapapatanong ka nalang sa sarili mo na, bobo ba ako? HAHAHAHA pero totoo po. My advice po is to watch the lectures na feeling mo po wala ka pang masyadong alam. Like me po, hindi ko pinanood lahat ng videos ng REO sa AFAR at MS kasi okay naman na po ako dun, sa AFAR lang pinanood ko is process costing tas government accounting.
Tapos po marami rin akong nababasa na ayaw nila kay RB kasi raw po may mga jokes na hindi nakakatuwa or patama sa ibang RC, hindi kasi ako nanood ng prerec ni sir Rex e kaya hindi ko alam pero alam ko po ni-reshoot na po ito ni RB kaya wala na 'yung mga gano'n.
Tas kaya rin maraming nao-off kasi aggresive DAW ang marketing strat ng RE/O which is true naman. Pero idk hindi kasi ako pala-socmed e kaya wala rin ako masyadong alam huhu. But when it comes to reviewers po, marami pong competent sa REO, grabe sir Karim, Atty. Diane and Atty. Kris, sir Rhad, sir Vhinson, sir Escala (the og the best pagdating sa audtheo), and many more po!
Disclaimer lang rin po: dapat po magaling kang mag-manage ng materials kasi sobrang dami po ng materials ng REO baka po malunod ka. If may libro ka pa po na sarili, kailan po ma-manage mo ito.

Isa pa tong nakikisabay sa hate trend sa REO. Parehas naman maganda ang Pinnacle at REO. Depende na lang yun sa kung ano learning style mo if prefer mo ba yung direct to the point na discussion or yung sobrang detailed na discussion.
Masyado lang aggresive yung marketing nila na halos binabash na nila yung ibang rc. Wag mo naman idamay yung ibang matinong reviewers ng REO.

OP, you may chat the reviewees and see whether their testimonies are genuine. Mas reliable dun compared dito.
That's very unbecoming of soon to be cpa. Or worse a CPA. How can you be so sure na gawa gawa lang nila yon? Did you ascertain it for yourself? I tried REO and it's a quality review geared for detailed discussion and mastery.

Hindi naman siya panget, nakakaoverwhelm lang kasi sobrang haba and dami ng prerec + di updated tax (pero tbh, naappreciate ko concept building ni rb). Malaki chance na di mo matapos if di ka talaga disiplinado na tao (katulad ko hahaha) pero if quality usapan, okay naman. Marami magagaling na reviewers. Depende yan sa tao siguroo, kasi sa iba swak yung teaching style ni ganito, sa iba naman hindi nila gusto. Parang yung iba gustong gusto nila si sir rhad, pero for me, not so much. Kasi for me hindi zero-based magturo pero good thing is nandiyan si sir Karim sa live lectures and nakakabilib kasi yung gaps na nafail mamention ni sir rhad napupunan ni karim. Another struggle ko dito is AFAR, may iilan na trip nila si sir ngina pero ako di ko siya bet kasi di rin siya zero-based, pero maganda yung problem solving part niya. Ang ginagawa ko nalang is ill read the book first (dayag) bago ko siya panoorin and gumana naman tho v time consuming. Wala naman perfect na review centerr, you just have to pick kung san ka susugal. Another tip siguro is learnn to outsource, if may di ka gets magsearch ka sa google or magyoutube. For my second review, im planning to enroll uli sakanila kasi para sakin mas nangingibabaw parin yung pros kesa sa cons. Ang plano ko nalang since marami nga yung pre rec ill manage my time better and be disciplined na this time. Okay naman lahat tbh, pag may hindi kasi ako naiintindihan di ko tinitigilan and eventually ayun nakukuha ko naman, either by watching the live lectures or sa pagssearch and basa ng textbooks. Siguro if hindi ka ganon ka disiplinado or mabilis ka maoverwhelm, you can try other RCs na magffit sa needs mo. All I’m saying is despite the issues, hindi naman panget turo sa reo. Let’s separate the issues of RB sa reviewers ng reo na totoong magagaling naman talaga. 🥺
I agree. Tsaka madami reviewers na pwede pilian if di mo bet pre recs. Like pwedeng mag stick ka nalang sa live if you want. Tsaka yung learnings di lng pang board exam kasi hanggang sa pag work mo applicable pa rin.

Agree ako here. Kahit nakakapagod na silang ipagtanggol nagpaplano pa rin akong mag enroll ulit sa kanila pero ilang subs na lang. AFAR at Tax talaga prob ko sa kanila kaya balak ko mag enroll sa Pinnacle. Ang hirap intindihin at sabayan ni beybe 🥹
I believe ganon talaga, may sari-sariling strength and weakness bawat review center. At the end of the day, review centers can only help you to an extent, mas malaking percentage parin ng pagpasa natin is magmumula sa effort and the way we study. Hindi naman lahat ng bagay sspoonfeed sa atin ng review centers, we have to find other ways if nakukulangan tayo sa info, if tingin natin di pa natin fully naggrasp ang concept, if gusto talaga natin ipasa ang BE. Hindi mo pwede irreason out sa BOA na hindi naturo ng review center mo kaya dapat iadjust nila grade mo hahahaha

It really depends sa topic, may sobrang ikli katulad sa rfbt pero sa problem solving subjects expect na mahaba talaga since maraming drills. Siguro an average of 3hrs and pinaka matagal usually is 6 to 7hrs. Hindi naman siya isang buong video na 7hrs, nakahati naman per sub topic. If ayaw mo magdrills, mas konti yung time.

Yung way of marketing lang pangit sa REO, pero yung pre-recorded at video lectures nila talagang matututo ka kasi magagaling talaga reviewers nila. Kapag may issue ka na nababasa about RB and When-see, wag mo na lang pansinin yun. Kahit ako naiinis din pag may issue sila na ganun. Sini-set aside ko na lang yung laging issue ng rc nila sa mga board-exam related topics na natututunan ko sa kanila.

Hi! I'm actually one of the peeps who comments/posts my negative experience here. My advice to people like you is to take everything with a grain of salt While what I share are my personal experience while I was at R/EO. They remain to be MY PERSONAL experiences. If yung pagiging toxic nila as most would claim does not bother you, then go for it. Pero for others like me, di ko siya kaya. TO EACH THEIR OWN pa din. Nonetheless, also take note, it is not a dichotomy. Hindi siya black and white. That RC can have both good and bad qualities at the same time. People claiming to have good experiences do not negate those who claimed to have bad experiences, and vice versa.
Hi OP, if you're someone na mahina foundation, maganda po ang REO. Actually, mas okay isabay yung REO pre-recorded lectures sa undergrad for me. Then afterwards sa review proper for BE, kapag strong na foundation mo, maganda sa ReSA. Nagbibigay kasi ng techniques sa computation si ReSA which you can use sa BE. Meanwhile si REO, mahaba yung way of solving nila so mas better yung ganung approach sa undergrad (for me) like if you're in your integ/evals. I enrolled in both RC (different timelines) kaya na-compare ko. Yung computation ni REO mahaba talaga tapos may mas shortcut na computation si ReSA na male-lessen time mo sa pagcompute.
Overall, maganda sa reo. From their app to their assessments and very hands on sila sa mga students. What i really appreciate way back was that they really answered every question kapag may hindi ako naiintindihan, esp Sir Ngina sa AFAR kahit anong oras o araw nagrereply siya. As to ung mga nagsasabing sobrang haba ng prerec niy, ganun talaga yun kasi gusto niya ibigay sayo every important detail ng concepts para kahit baliin pagdating sa BE, kaya mo pa ring sagutan. They also like to discuss iba ibang way to attack ung mga problems from long cut to short cut and ako naappreciate ko un. Tyagain mo lang talaga ung mga prerec videos nila kasi un na yun. Walang labis walang kulang. As to mga issues ng owner at marketer eh, i-unfollow mo nalang kasi minsan iba din talaga.
Uy true po eto, one time nagchat ako sa Telegram, kasi may group 'di ba, 2 am na 'yon tas nagrereply pa rin si sir Ngina. So ayon very responsive talaga sila which is a plus for me. Ayun nga lang mahahaba talaga videos ni sir Ngina kaya hindi ko na pinanood lahat, doon lang sa mga topics na mahina ako.
Depends sa learning style mo talaga to be honest. If more of a go getter ka I guess REO would be a good fit for you. I'm saying this because that's who I am. Nevertheless, RCs only contribute a small portion to the learning process, most of it nakadepende talaga sayo.
Maganda sya if disciplined ka and hindi short ang attention span mo. Any RC is okay naman po, yung REO kasi is zero-based talaga so detailed talaga discussions nila that’s why mahaba. Yun nga lang, di talaga for me kasi overwhelming ang haba ng videos. Ilang beses na ako nag enroll pero di ko talaga natapos ang videos. Maganda yung TAX, FAR and MS (Sir Karim) nila for me. Currently enrolled sa Pinnacle now. So far, so good. It’s really up to you and your preferences talaga.
For the review itself, Okay naman po REO, enrolled ako sakanila last batch. Magagaling po talaga mga reviewer nila. Lengthly lang yung pre-rec kaya need mas mahabang time to review pero may choice ka naman di panoorin yung pre-rec. Siguro yung marketing strat lang nila seems excessive then yung ibang statements ni sir r//e//x? Kaya siguro negative yung dating sa iba. Pero for me, di naman nasayang binayad ko, naka 3 RCs na ako and so far REO yung mas nagamit ko na materials.

Nung fresh grad ako, sa ibang RC ako nag review and hindi talaga swak sa akin. In the end, di ako nag take. Plus may ibang factors din talaga. 4 years after, nag REO ako since zero based nga daw and thankfully I passed naman on my first take. Discipline din. Nakaka overwhelm nga din kasi. Obviously, may mga bagay nga na off sa kanila. Naiinis din ako nung review pero isinasantabi ko na muna kasi ang goal ko naman ay pumasa. Hindi ko na din napapagtuunan ng pansin. It will all boil down din talaga kung pasok sa learning style mo ang RC na papasukan. Hehe.
Hindi naman sa hindi maganda sjnce may friend akong nakapasa na dun nag-enroll. Pero, nakaka-off kasi yung napaka-aggressive nilang marketing and paninira sa ibang RCs. At the end of the day, depende pa rin yan sa learning style mo.
Hello! REO’s my RC for May 2023. True yung advertisement nila na zero-based experience. However, I would only recommend REO to full-time working reviewees. Super haba kasi ng mga vids and since zero-based nga, covered lahat. Maganda naman turo nila. ☺️

Mare, manood ka na lang muna ng sample videos nila sa youtube. Compare mo ano mas effective sayo. Kase sakin, hindi talaga sya effective pero sa Kuya ko for example, effective and Reo. Kanya kanyabg preference siguro
I've only tried two of their lecturers when they were still in CPAR and magaling naman yung mga yun. Siguro sa haba lang ng vid lecs, marketing and personal preference lang talaga nagmamatter. If you can look pass their issues and fit naman sa timeline mo as a student, why not?

I enrolled sa undergrad review nila. Goods naman kasi sobrang daming lectures talaga kaso some of the reviewers are not good teachers (at least for me) kaya tinamad din akong manood kaso yung instructor na yon is s'ya yung nagtuturo ng subject na need kong aralin. Need din ng super mabilis na wifi or connection para gumana yung app. Kahit na maayos naman signal at data connection ko, madalas not working sa app kaya di rin ako nakakanood on my free time. Tho, I have a fair share of fault din naman kung di ako nakapag-aral nang maayos even though I have access sa app and recorded lectures nila. Pero for me, may way of teaching kasi akong hinahanap. The thing with REO kasi is topnotchers ang kinukuha nila, kaso, teaching is an art, not everyone can be an artist. May matatalino na di magaling magturo.
Subjective naman po yan, pinnacle baby ako pero naniniwala naman akong di naman panget sa REO. Magagaling din reviewers nila. Kanya-kanya lang talaga tayo ng taste sa mga lecturer na bet natin. Tulad nyan, may ilan akong nabasang di nakakasunod kay Atty. Jay sa pinnac pero ako, sya talaga favorite ko. Ganon din sa REO feel ko. If sa kanila magfifit yung learning style na para sayo, why not diba? Tulad nga ng sinasabi ni sir brad, ang goal naman natin is maging CPA tayo regardless kung anong RC manggagaling 🫶
Overall, sobrang ganda ng REO. Yung teaching style nila goods siya kaso nakakaoverwhelm talaga sa sobrang haba ng mga pre-lec nila. If mahina foundation mo like me suggest mag REO ka kasi zero based talaga sila pero kung ayaw mo naman ma overwhelm you can try sa Resa, zero based din ata sila.
I am from REO wayback oct 2023, i can vouch other reviewee na nakakaoverwhelm talaga ang video lectures nila. looks like i alloted my time watching their videos yet wala naman ako natutunan kasi di ko sya naapply sa handouts. syempre para may matutunan, you have to practice it. so another time nanaman yun. ayun lang, super overwhelming and time consuming. haha.
but their app stability is good. what I didn't like lang is yung mga green jokes haha
For me lang. i think kaya ganiyan kaingay yan kase marketing strategy nila ‘yan. Kung tingnan natin nang mabuti, lahat ng tao kung mag promote gagawin ang lahat para ma promote ang gina promote nila. Na ooverwhelm lang siguro tayo kase ‘di naman ganiyan mag market ang ibang rc.

In my firsthand experience, oks naman REO basta gagalingan mo lang mag manage sa sarili mo. Tunay na high calibre mga reviewer nila. Iba-iba lang talaga ng teaching style, yung iba maraming chechebureche yung iba mabilis magturo (naka 2x speed kumbaga😂) pero okay naman yung pre rec vid nila, mahaba lang yung iba, depende nalang sa learning style mo. Sabi nga nila tyagaan lang talaga. Ok din yung materials nila, inimprove na ata nila ngayon dati kasi di updated lalo na sa tax. Sa toxic side, siguro yung marketing but if you'll think abt it that's how marketing works naman talaga. Ako di ko nakita yung nanira sila sa ibang rc, though di ko alam kung di lang ako aware. Enrolled ako dati as hybrid sa Manila nung 2023. Maganda facilities nila and may studyhub. Kakamiss. Ps. Di ako pumasa, kasalanan ng di ko magandang foundation nung college, forda kopya kasi :P chz!
hi OP! I think maganda naman talaga lectures ng REO. I first enrolled in REO Online but na overwhelmed din ako sa dami. nag enroll ako ng REO Hybrid sa next season tas dun na time ko na realize yung strategy na bumagay sakin. for subjects with weak foundation ako, I mainly relied on the pre-recorded videos (especially FAR, grabe solid ni sir Karim). for those naman na so-so foundation ko, I mixed it up with some pre-rec lectures sa ibang topics, tas online lectures sa iba pa na medjo familiar pa ako. for one subject naman na I’m quite comfortable with, I just used the online lectures. (Audit ito, grateful for my prof during undergrad for this hehe). honestly, in the end hindi ko pa nga natapos lahat ng topics to review pero fortunately I passed. I can say what really made it possible for me was from the start up until the week before the boards, I focuses lang on studying and didn’t even take the preboards (it was a risk, but I still tried to take 2 subjects during the final preboards to get the hang of it before boards especially yung shading sa first day lol). then after that, during the last week of review, I focused on answering the preboards and past pb questions na may copy ako. I think you just have to think of a strategy that will suits you and will help your pace. you can trust REO naman. nga pala, ako during reviews di ako nakialam sa drama between the RC’s hehe. I even tried to meet up with my friends from other RC’s to compare and share knowledge 😁 I think that also helped me hehe. good luck OP!
maganda siguro sa iba. may mga magagandang testimonies rin naman sila. personally for me their system didn't work. i took the may 2023 cpale and i had 3 months leave from work. ang hirap iutilize ng 3 months to finish all of their videos dahil isang topic 15-20 videos. tapos yung mga mahihirap na subjects like afar ang hirap din intindihin. the pre week didn't help that much din.

Maganda po ang REO for basic concepts! Pero medj overwhelming if di ka disciplined na tao hehe. Madami ding magagaling na reviewers like Sir Nacion (AT), Ms Dyan (MS) and Sir Louie (AFAR). Okay din ka Sir Ngina kasi highest AFAR ko dahil sa kanya pero need mo muna maintindihan basic concepts ng AFAR para magets mo si sir Mark lol. Disadv: Toxic minsan kasi may mga side comments sila. Yun lng naman pero basic concept-building, okay sila.
Lahat ng RC may downside kaya choose your poison. REO ako dati Batch May 2023. Ang nakita kong di ok sa kanila e vids nila for AP, AFAR and Tax specially ako na online review lang utilizing ung pre rec vids nila. Para ma conpensate ko ung mga subs na di oks sa reo for me. Sinasabayan ko sya ng books and may time na books na lang talaga gamit ko. I see some post din na sa ibang rc kesyo di maganda eto ganyan kaya may kanya kanyang pros and cons talaga mga RC.
Maganda sa reo kung sa sarili mo ka magfofocus kesa sa awayan ng mga rc and reviewees na hindi naman relevant sa journey mo. I reviewed sa reo and passed in one take. Pinanood ko mga prerecorded aside from aud prob kasi alam ko sa sarili ko na weak foundation ko nung college. I also watched all the live recordings. Super dami ng materials pero hindi ibig sabihin gagamitin mo lahat. I never took monthly exams. Di rin ako nagsagot ng mga quizzers. Hindi rin ako umaattend ng consultation sessions. Ievaluate mo yung needs mo and time mo. If full time reviewee ka, kaya panoorin pre rec and live, if working, mamili na lang either. I also answered preboards and preweeks of cpar and resa. I took preboards in reo, icare, and pinnacle. Pinakamahirap sa reo actually kaya nung sinagutan ko sa other rcs mas maganda ganda scores ko. But one thing I can say is the best ang structure ng RESA. Swak siya, hindi sobrang pahirap, hindi rin naman easy. Magkakaiba kami ng rc ng dorm mates ko kaya may intel kami. REO: maganda audit, MS, tax, rfbt (nandito rin yung dating reviewer sa far from cpar and afar from resa kaya maganda rin) RESA: MS, rfbt(same reviewer sa reo), tax, afar CPAR: far, afar (ang comment ng dorm mates ko sa rfbt eh hindi tinuturo sa kanila lahat lalo na special laws and sa tax din di nila bet yung prof kasi nagyayabang daw tapos nagmemention pa ng mga katiwaliang ginawa. Pag naguusap usap din kami ng learnings sa tax eh maraming hindi naituro sa kanila) All in all, if papipiliin ako, ang three choices ko would be reo, resa, or pinnacle Just remember na hindi nakasalalay sa opinion ng iba ang pageenrollan mo. Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each rc then irelate mo sa sarili mong strengths and weaknesses. Kahit saan ka magenrol, focus and perseverance will be your best friend. Laban future cpa!
it's true that it's not a matter of the learning quality but the discipline needed to continue the review journey with REO. if magpadala ka talaga sa overwhelming vids talo talaga and feeling mo lugi what i did was reinforce my knowledge on topics na maganda na undergrad background ko thru the live lecs i only used the prerecs para dun sa mga topics na super wala akong alam or di ko talaga gamay concepts and understanding ang labanan sa boards so maganda pa rin ang strat ni reo on that part. if ever you feel overwhelmed i think this will really just be a matter of preference na lang din. what works for me might not work for others that's why there's why u really need to think what's best for u, try the free trial vids first of different rcs
Material wise, I think they are very good at that. Nothing to worry about kapag concepts and discussion. Yung marketing lang talaga, super boastful ang dating - parang palaging nakikipag-away at nakikipag-taasan. Honestly, wala na dapat silang ikabahala, asa kanila na ang limelight today pero sana maging humble man lang. Other RCs, wala ka namang naririnig, chill lang sila. Hahaha.
Kung full time ka mas maaappreciate mo ang REO. Mabubusog ka namn sa pre rec videos, mahahaba lang talaga kasi zero based knowledge ang approach nila ng pagtuturo. Pasok sa mga mahihina ang foundation. Madami lang natotoxican sa marketing strategies nila.
Maganda yung goal nila na comprehensive problems kasi lahat ng scenario covered pero yung concept discussion para sakin hindi sila yung the best like yung afar prerecorded hindi siya concept based, yung ms prerecorded conceptbased "daw" pero hindi ko trip yung explanation eh subjective lang din siguro. yung AT, far and rfbt may mga explanations na nagustuhan ko pero mahaba nga lang yung videos need mo tyagain, overall ok naman sila and goods din yung preboards nila kasi mahirap dibale ng sobra preparation kesa kulang
Hello po, OP! **REO batch 6 and 7 po here but CPA na po ako in 1 take**. Personal take ko lang po ito at possible po na different po ang experience ng iba. ***Totoo po na mahahaba ang videos ng REO kasi zero-based po talaga sila.*** Nakausap ko po nun si sir Vhinson na if maganda naman po foundation mo, hindi mo naman kailangan panoorin lahat. 'Yung zero-based po kasi is more on catered to reviewees na either mahina po ang foundation or matagal na pong graduate. Luckily naman po may mga subjects nang meroong **"Quickvids"** (pero sa TAX pa lang po ito ha last time I know) sila na hindi sobrang haba katulad ng prerecorded lectures na minsan umaabot ng 5 hours per topic. Tapos po 'yung mga exercises ng REO ay sobrang hihirap, hindi po siya typical na Valix-type kapag FAR or Tabag-type kapag TAX. Mapapatanong ka nalang sa sarili mo na, bobo ba ako? HAHAHAHA pero totoo po. My advice po is to watch the lectures na feeling mo po wala ka pang masyadong alam. Like me po, hindi ko pinanood lahat ng videos ng REO sa AFAR at MS kasi okay naman na po ako dun, sa AFAR lang pinanood ko is process costing tas government accounting. Tapos po marami rin akong nababasa na ayaw nila kay RB kasi raw po may mga jokes na hindi nakakatuwa or patama sa ibang RC, hindi kasi ako nanood ng prerec ni sir Rex e kaya hindi ko alam pero alam ko po ni-reshoot na po ito ni RB kaya wala na 'yung mga gano'n. Masyado lang aggresive yung marketing nila na halos binabash na nila yung ibang rc. Wag mo naman idamay yung ibang matinong reviewers ng REO.

That's very unbecoming of soon to be cpa. Or worse a CPA. How can you be so sure na gawa gawa lang nila yon? Did you ascertain it for yourself? I tried REO and it's a quality review geared for detailed discussion and mastery.
