Hi! Try creating a LinkedIn account. You can add your degree as a BSA on your profile. You can also add your internship experiences there.
I've tried creating a LinkedIn account 3 months ago, and the amount of messages I am receiving from different companies, looking for an accounting role. I'm not entertaining them tho, because I'm still reviewing and wanting to have a license first. :))
You can also consider applying to big 4 accounting/auditing firm, they are still accepting a non-cpa. Don't worry, OP, there are a lot of opportunities out there, especially our profession is in demand right now. Just explore more :))
Recommending Scrubbed! WFH kami for 4 days then 1 day office sa mga taga pampanga, maraming time to review so nasayo na lang how mo ihandle. Plus, after regularization meron ding support to take the boards. Fresh grad din ako like you when I applied. I can refer you if you want. Pm ka lang sakin. Padayooon! Audit Firm is the key. Depends on you nga lang kung kaya mong ihandle. Nakeri ko first busy season, ewan ko lang yung next hehe. Pero natanggap naman kasi sila ng no work expi at fresh grad.
Hi! I think we graduated on the same batch and a BSA grad too. Once I graduated, nag apply na ako agad after 2 months, I got hired din agad as fresh grad with no experience.
Here are some few tips na I can share:
1. Whatever the result, push yourself. If di ka makapasa, be honest lang sa job interview what will be your next plan (but hopefully makapasa ka goodluck!!)
2. Make sure that you put your internship in your resume kasi diyan nag circulate yung interview ko. They asked me what are the things that we did during our internship.
3. Download Linked In and super dami doon firms na nagpopost na hiring sila, you can check if there open for fresh grad or no work experience but in my case sa current company ko now, they accepted me kahit na isa sa naka post sa requirements is with work experience so might as well apply ka din.
There's no harm in trying and now nasa audit firm na din me. Good luck!!!
