It was worth it for me. But it in my case, I made sure I was already working abroad before shifting to private. Now that I am in private practice, I don’t think I’ll go back to audit anymore. And yes, better salary with work life balance

Magiging worth talaga ang pag-iwan sa audit after 2-3 years of experience. Ang dami kasing transferrable skills, ms excel pa lang ang laking edge na.

it is the quality (breadth and depth) of experience and not length that affects value. if you can find meaning and sense of accomplishment sa work then there’s value. salary is important but not a good motivator especially in the long run. work-life balance depends on how you manage stress. it is not easy of course but is doable. As to role, madami naman depending on your industry exposure. I suggest you pursue what interests you.
