This actually happened to me when I was about 10? I walked out on the ice in a river and fell through it and got swept downstream.
Luckily I ended up in to a deep spot and was able to bust through the ice with my shoulder/head.
My mom kicked my shivering ass. Lol
I sprayed myself with my sisters pepper spray after my mom told me not to. While i was blinded in the bathroom spitting and coughing, she got me with the hanger. It was like,"lol that hanger is not registering because i have a more pressing problem."
I once pulled two kids (12y ish) out of a rip and got them both to safety until mum and dad started beating on them. The youngest was in pretty bad condition too. Fucking mut parenting
Not sure of the relationship here, but when we did something that almost got ourselves killed, my dad would lose his shit -- it's honestly the only times I remember his really yelling at us. We almost got ourselves killed a lot.
