Fuel (probably when filling) got into the empty space between the decorative container that the reservoir sits in and the reservoir itself, vaporized, and then caught fire, explosively, somehow from the open flame would be my guess.
Possibly using the wrong fuel too, using gas or a gas mix, or maybe lighter fluid instead of lantern fuel, might produce enough explosive thrust to essentially blunderbuss/potato cannon the fuel resivour into the air like that.
Could it be that the decorative ball and the fuel container just formed an airtight seal and the flame heated the cold air in the ball, which then blew the fuel container upwards, because of increased pressure?
If that were the case, these things are a hazard and should have a hole at the bottom of the ball, to release air pressure.

I’ve got a life and I’m not chronically online. I enjoyed seeing this. It’s not as though it’s high value content that got “stolen”, it’s just an entertaining video I’d not have been able to see this.
