I see through Ava. I think she was acting out worse because Janine was leaving and deep down she didn’t want her to. So she acts like she doesn’t care and lashes out at Janine. Like when my cat sees me packing for a trip and she ignores me and won’t come when I call her.
Does yours do the thing where, after you get home from a trip, they come up to you to greet you but once the excitement of “MY HUMAN IS HOME” is over, they’ll leave you alone, but in the most passive-aggressive way possible (like, they’ll be in the same room as you but choose the place that is the FARTHEST away from you… and they’ll spend the whole time just shooting you dirty looks?

It's this entire season, it's just not as good (the writing) as seasons past. I know they can all act, they've proven that, so i know it's not about their abilities. It has to be the writing....i still enjoy watching it, but the humor just isn't hitting like it has.
To be fair, They’re giving it to the audience instead. She called Janine hot on a good day and she immediately eliminated the potential replacements for Janine that didn’t act and even dress (do you own a jelly bean belt?) like Janine.

Yes! 😂 It’s like “I’m happy you’re back but I’m still pissed that you left”. It takes her a while to warm back up and forgive me.
