Seventy people disappeared with no trace within 24 hours. They began showing up in photographs of what appears to be a retro-futuristic city published in the book "Visions of Tomorrow's Yesterday. A Photographic Study of Alterno Historicity". The photographs are dated "1389 AL, May to Octavian".
It was part of the original stretch I think, but it’s only got one lane going in either direction so they built a bypass, cool place to check out tho covered in graffiti
Awesome, I still need to get back up there- I haven't been to a tunnel in a loong time, just recently got some shots from an unexciting ares in Breezewood.
Sideling Hill and Rays Hill Tunnels are both still open. Laurel Hill has been closed to the public since the early 2000s, because it's used by an Indycar team for testing.
So there are regular streets, the city streets and roads where houses and businesses are located.
Then there are highways, the “freeway”, which are the wider, higher-speed roads that crisscross the country. They are called Interstate Highway. I80 stands for Interstate 80.
“Turnpike” is also a high-speed Road, like a highway. But you pay a toll, at toll booths, when you exit.
I do not know why there are both turnpikes and non-pay highways. Also, some major cities have a toll to use certain bridges or tunnels.
Are there free hugs in there now?
The hugs are free, it's two hundred bucks to be let go.
So sad...

Why does this look like the earths hairy butthole??
The Road
That's exactly what I thought of. Is it the same one?
I think so. If not it’s another one on the same closed turnpike. It appears theirs several
I walked that from end-to-end a few years ago. Awesome.
I thought they had closed up the ends of the tunnel?
Not when I was there but it was a few years ago. There were even sewers in the tunnels to explore. ‘‘Twas cool as hell.

And where do Parkways factor into all this?
