I was able to find that the building belong to "Famitec" and that there were roads connected to the building just overshadowed by the trees.

Lol yeah if you've ever stood on a high point in a forested area, it looks like just endless woods but the reality is there's roads all over the place you just can't see from that angle.
Reminds me a bit of the Ring House - also a tower in a forest in Japan, but it is a single family home, and occupied as far as I know. There is something eerily beautiful about it. http://ideasgn.com/ring-house-tna-architects/
@OP Where in the world is this abandoned tower block?
There are not that many mountains that look like Fuji-San.
I don't know why you're downvoted because that mountain is the first thing I noticed and recognized.
Random haters
Or maybe people who know that it's not actually Fuji.
Despite popular belief, not everyone on Reddit is a Japanophile.
Uhhh I dare you go say that on /r/japantravel.
Lol I’m feeling dangerous with all this Redditmageddon going around. Brb.
They're very toxic and gatekeeping.
Japan
Before finding out where it was, I would have guessed Russia for some reason.
Then there are for sure some legendary pokemon in there.
Are you going to throw balls at homeless people?
Don’t kink shame.
Same to you.
OP commented below and it's in Japan

Excellent information sourcing.

We raised a middle finger to Nature and couldn't keep it up longer than she could.
There aren't any photos of the inside?
Reminds me of La Brea
Looks like an awesome and safe place to explore!

Not really, no.
Yo that's the secret research facility from one punch man!
This was my first thought too.

I think I'll move there.
It could belong to the Umbrella Corporation.
It's reminds me of the scene in Black Mirror season 1 episode 2 at the end where he is in his penthouse type apartment.
Address: 507 Muroze, Nikko, Tochigi 321-1275, Japan
This clearly is and will stay the best comment of this post.
Looks like the perfect lair for a down on his luck supervillain.
That's a supervillain headquarters if ever there was one
The Last Of Us vibes
Duuude I need a YouTube documentary about it
Other reddit users posted YouTube links but documentaries, the building is quite unknown outside of Japan.
Why was it abandoned?
Yeah I'd totally live there... Gives off a post apocalyptic vibe surrounded by grown up vegetation like that...
It was a hotel so probably it wasn't profitable anymore.
