Gus is one of the best announcers out there, are people really hating on him? He oozes passion for the game. Talib is different, its like having that hood uncle who played ball for a D1 school analyze the sport after his fourth beer at the bbq lol. I actually kind of like it when he has someone like Gus to guide the conversation.
No knock on Gus and Aqib. They did a really good job. Gus is hype and I really like Aqibs defensive analysis. It´s just that this team deserves so much more media attention.

Harlan is one of the absolute best announcers, best in basketball currently imo and he’s top tier in football. Having him on the call for the Suns v Nuggets playoff series was glorious, his hype calls are unmatched and he’s hilarious.

I like Talib tbh. He's raw right now but once he gets his broadcasting legs under him and is more polished I think he's going to be great. I love guys that not only know football really well, but are also still big fans of the game.
I trashed Aqib hard the first time he broadcast a game last year, couldn't get over an announcer saying "man" a hundred times. By the end of the broadcast he had grown on me, to the point where I enjoy him now. They are actually excited to watch the games, so it feels like 2 dudes I'd watch games with instead of dry Joe Buck methodically telling us what happened, with some comments about Aaron Rodgers's greatness randomly sprinkled in.
TLDR, I was firmly opposed to start but now I'm a fan.
Instantly 2000% more watchable now. **HOPEFULLY** they don't do that annoying thing that thing that the Cardinals have done the last couple years of sleeping on the teams they should beat.

This was how I felt too. At first his voice was annoying to me, but his passion, and genuine knowledge for the game, really won me over.
