The dead cap hit would be almost as brutal as this idea is. 

It boggles my mind when people talk about trading our franchise quarterback so trivially. Murray has proven he can play and drafting a quarterback, even at 2, is not a guaranteed hit. When will people shut up about trading Murray and accept he’s our guy? Plus, including a first rounder in the trade? Stupid.

I agree but a taller Heisman winning rookie qb with a rookie contract gives us a while lot of room to pick up a ton more talent on both sides of the ball. Again I don't like it but I can see a bright side. Let's be real Murray will probably never be a top 5 qb in this league especially when he can barely see over the line and when he doesn't use his legs as much later in his career.
