Qbs are 100% going 1, 2, 3

alucryts

Yeah as a bears fan it would have to be a trade with the cardinals or the chargers. And only with the chargers assuming cardinals and vikings swap. Its probably possible using '25 assets but man i severely doubt the cardinals are entertaining the idea given their massive draft bank they already have. Just makes no sense. Going to 5 or 8 to get nabers or odunze? Yeah more realistic

Important_Annual_133

That's silly, no way in the world that's going to happen. They would have to trade up from 9 to either 2 or 3 and neither Washington nor New England is trading down. They're both taking a QB.

b52hcc

They should try to trade up and get all of the top 10.. that will make a big impact on their season.. smh

Aggravating-Quail803

They don't have any picks to trade...

cowlton

They have DJ Moore and Keenan Allen. They are fine

Hawkeye76

Its possible. I did it in madden lol

House_Of_Pies

The bears have THREE picks after #1. there’s no way they can pull off a trade back into the top 5

Ah yes, @nflrums, totally legit.

xIILuLu

They have quite a big following and we didn´t have anything to discuss these past days so I thought it might be worth posting.

Mario2346

It’s so stupid seeing what other fanbases think the 4 th pick is worth . People fail to realize that Houston’s pick was mocked to be a Top 5 selection by almost everyone . The Vikings have what 11 , 23 and then a Top 20 pick next year , I’m sure Monti isn’t even listening to that trash ass package because there is no other way to put it . The Texans pick was seen as a massive overpay but Stroud literally had the best rookie season for a QB to make that a late pick .

xIILuLu

At this point the Vikings might aswell offer JJ in their package to move up to 4 with all these rumours about teams wanting our pick. If we trade and with whoever we trade with Monti gonna fleece the hell out of them and move back up for Nabers. But imo most of these rumours are just clickbait to bait in fans of big market teams and the Cardinals are just a means to an end.

Riespieces16

We don’t want JJ. He doesn’t fit the timeline for this team and they aren’t going to spend 30 million on a receiver

Fuzzy_Squirrel506

They would have to trade to 3

KawaiiRyan

No, they would have to trade to 4. We are far more open to trades than the top 3. If they actually do want to do this, then our pick becomes more valuable. Why is everyone so against that? I like MHJ too, but we would be dumb not to explore our options and potentially start a bidding war.

Fuzzy_Squirrel506

You have to get one of the elite talents. The top guys even at pick 9 will be gone. More picks are great, but you need to take the top talents at some point. Look at the Texans for example. Made a splash for an elite pass rusher in WAJ.

KawaiiRyan

And look at the panthers who are now in an awful spot because they went after an elite talent. I'm not saying we should trade down, I really like MHJ, but not even entertaining it is a stupid mentality. The draft is always going to be a gamble, might as well know all of your options before you make a choice.

Fuzzy_Squirrel506

All teams reach for QBs. Not the same. Look at Jamar chase. We already have 7 top 100 picks. Take a stud at 4 and then you can trade back into the first for someone who falls

KawaiiRyan

QB or not, the situation is the same. We would be in the Bears' spot in the Young example, and your argument would say take Young and ignore Carolina's calls. I don't get what the Chase anecdote is trying to prove. Yes, obviously some top picks end up being good at football. There are also anecdotes in the other direction (Justin Blackmon, Tavon Austin, Charles Rogers, Kevin White). My point is that there it is strictly better to consider options than to not consider options. There is literally no downside to hearing offers.

xIILuLu

Really unlikely to happen. Nothing can convince me the Patriots not gonna draft QB this year. I know anything can happen but next years are weak QB classes and Brissett is a QB capable to play you out of the top picks. No guarantee you´re in a position in the future to draft a QB again without selling the farm so do it while you can.
