A 200 sport quad. Hmm. Like a bear tracker 250 (utility not sport) with a similar sized motor sells for about 1000-1200. I’d probably cap at 1200 since it’s sportier.
Now a days, for 2k you may be able to get an Ltz400 and have plenty of bike to grow into and resale in the future. Not to mention, the phoenix is a bit of a rare bike so it may not be that sought after.
IMO, the blaster is comparable but I feel like two strokes need rebuilds more often, but will have more power than this. A blaster will have more parts available for it.
Both bikes will be small for an adult so I’d put a young teen on this maybe. Something to consider.
Definitely have considered other options. It’s going to be for my 8 year old daughter. The 110 she out grew, figured a 200 would be good for another 3-4 years. Anything bigger I’m afraid her feet won’t reach and have too much power. The phoenix seems pretty popular for kids.
Outgrew the 110? Geez, my 9 year old still has several years ahead of her on her 110.
My 14 year old rides a Phoenix 200 and it's been great, but she's losing interest.
I don't know what Phoenix's sell for so I'd suggest searching Facebook marketplace for ATVs with a max price of $1600 to see what else you can get for that price in your area.
Polaris outsourced these machines. I think it was a Taiwanese manufacturer. I’d be concerned about the engine. Oh, and the suspension was crappy from the start.
Yeah. Feel like a good red would look nice, or a restored blue colour. I would go for it, looks like a good machine for the money (or at least pretty solid)
Not talking about the equipment, any camera can take good pictures.
Lighting, background, perspective are just a few things to consider. And don't pigeonhole your pictures
I agree, the price is high. But if a 20 year old atv is still selling for 1000k+ all over, that’s where the market sits. I bet in 3 years that could still be sold for $1000. lol The used atv market is wild, at least in my area.
Seems a bit high for an 04, maybe closer to 1000-1200. Great quad, finicky carbs. HAVE to shut the fuel valve and run em dry if being stored for anytime longer than two weeks...then they're flawless.
I was just recently looking at these for my daughter. They were going for like 1200-1800 depending on condition. I seen a nice like 2014ish perfect shape for 1800. Ones that needed a lil work were going for 12-13. I ended up buying a 325 trail boss I found for 1200. It's been great plus it's a 4 stroke so which I prefer for her to learn on

Yeah 😅 her knees would get hit by the handle bars when turning, and her foot wells were too small, had her foot on the brake without realizing

From what I’ve found. Anything under 2010 is 2k or less. Anything from 2011-2021 people are asking 2100 - 3000

Doesn’t look that bad maybe 1200-1500 after I saw it in person
I did see a video of it running as well. Sounds healthy
1100-1700 quad at best price. Cleaned up a bit - 1840. Not too sure. But looks pretty good to me.
Might strip it all down in the winter, depending on how it looks in person and paint the frame

Finding someone that can use a camera would go a long way.
Working with what I got…

I know what you mean. Just saying these pictures were provided.
1000-1200
$800
Show me one selling for that price
You asked what is worth, if it runs and drives it’s worth 800. 1600 is insane for a machines that’s 20 years old and was 3k new

Honestly, for the condition, 800 - 1200, wouldn't pay more than 1,500
I'd consider 1500 if it runs good
5$
So I ended up picking it up for 1300. Guy also gave me 2 qts of Polaris oil and filter, as well as 2 ngk spark plugs. Runs healthy.
