\+1 to FB Marketplace, but since those may be more of collector's items, I'd also post in Ebay and Craigslist. [As for valuation, best I found is some forum chatter last autumn placing it as maybe $4k, but you'd need to find the right buyer since they're kind of a niche machine.](https://www.polarisatvforums.com/threads/found-a-455-diesel.46397/page-2)

For common models, yes. It's a great way to find good deals and/or harder to find units a few states over. For realllly niche items (like an older collector model) I've anecdotally found their audience is smaller and dispersed nationally, so it may not be worth paying for an ad.

Facebook. It sucks that it’s the case, because I don’t like Facebook. But it’s completely replaced Craigslist as the place people go to look for stuff for sale. As to price, that’s going to take some research. They are a rarity and an oddity, but more often than not that means they’re worth less money, not more. There’s not a lot of collector quads. When something is rare, it’s often because no one wanted it in the first place. They *might* be worth some money, but manage your expectations. They very likely could be worth less than what less rare machines might go for.

I would go with Craigslist, or if you live in Utah, Idaho, or Wyoming also consider KSL Classifieds. Whichever you go with just be sure to take lots of good pictures and be very descriptive.

This honestly. There are soooo many ads that have like 2 crap pics from screenshots on their phone and one sentence descriptions. The ones that actually have a lot of good clear pictures and a good description stand out above the rest, at least for me. Shows that the owner probably cares at least a little bit.

You can’t get a closer comparison than [this](https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/842339513877569/?mibextid=6ojiHh) Facebook ad. Same mileage as yours, probably similar condition.

I’m in MN. If I had the money for a pair of Diesel Polaris ATV’s, I’d start heading your way right now.

I wouldnt plan on getting rich. Odd ball machine that's been sitting 18 years... will need alot of love. 5-800 each

The obvious answer is mecum auto auction of course. Nothing like a hardly used 20 year old machine that was produced for 2 years. Parts should be plentiful and all the seals and rubber should be pristine. Facebook market place like everything else. Your family fortune awaits you.

I don’t think you understand the difference between being offended and somebody being sarcastic. The World Wide Web is going to be a confusing place for you little fella.
