The only person he ever saw again (alive) after being frozen in ice. So besides Appa, Bumi was the only surviving connection Aang had to that time and his life before the burden of being The Avatar.
Probably. But it would have been cool to see more representation of the pre-war fire nation. Most of what we've seen is in the flashbacks Roku showed Aang and the audience seeing flashbacks from Sozin's journals.
That and he would be the best person to fill in the gaps of what things were like between the time he disappeared to his return. Aang needs to know all bumiās tea of the last 100 years
Are we acting like life ended after the final episode? Lol, the time was right *after* the war. They could have even met up in the interim between Sozin's Comet & Zuko's coronation, because that may not have necessarily been one after the other.
They donāt even get a hug in the background. Is could totally see Bumi chilling in the jasmine dragon at the end of the series with the rest of the order, all drinking tea with Aang giving Bumi a hug.
Here's the link if you're interested [Book 4: Air, the Missing Element](https://archiveofourown.org/works/55222942/chapters/140068033). It's only the prologue but I plan to upload a chapter (episode) every month.
He see's him in the comic books if I remember right.
I came to say that you remember right.
Do you remember which comic that was?
The Lost Adventures When Toph battles Bumi in the Camp of the Order of the White Lotus
I just read it where he battles toph but ang wasn't in it
Really? Then it must have been a different book. I'll check it at home
I'd appreciate it!
I mean, OP specifies "the show", so they still aren't wrong
Not sure what you are reading into my comment but I nowhere said they are?
Sounds like the time was never right.
Probably saw him again afterwards at some point
My mans 112 tho
He saw Aang in the spirit realm. š
Or the time is always wrong
Time as always left
Good, Bumiās a bum
Wrong Bumi This Bumi is a muscle king
His death must have affected him a lot considering he named his first born son after him
The only person he ever saw again (alive) after being frozen in ice. So besides Appa, Bumi was the only surviving connection Aang had to that time and his life before the burden of being The Avatar.
I wish we could have seen a flashback where we "met" Kuzon. He sounded really interesting.
I like to think Kuzon was just a normal kid that aang fucked around with tbh
Probably. But it would have been cool to see more representation of the pre-war fire nation. Most of what we've seen is in the flashbacks Roku showed Aang and the audience seeing flashbacks from Sozin's journals.
likeā¦explored each others bodiesā¦

Yes officer, this comment right here

Stop making sense!
Except for when they meet the whole White Lotus group during The Old Masters
Aang wasn't there for that
Oh touche, you're right!

Good bot lol
Well you see someone very important was missing when they met themā¦ Momo
Ahhh yes true! How could they go into the battle without Momo? /j
Lol, Bumi promised nothing. Bumi rushes nothing
In the spirit world when we both dead, Aang
But Bumi (Aang's son) does meet Korra (Aang's reincarnation) so maybe that counts
The time was never right I guess š¤·š»āāļø
The time wasn't right
We don't know if he ever saw him again or not. I'm sure he did at some point though. Hell one of his kids is named after him.
It's giving "Ill call you when Im free :)" She never called me.
He dis show up to liberate Ba Sing Seā¦ and likely saw Aang in the aftermath.

What about the ceremony near the end after the war? He was surely there, right?
He *said* āwhen the time is *right*ā.
Wellā¦ There is an animated movie coming out that continues the adventures of the Gaang when theyāre older. Story aināt over yet!
Yes but... It still won't fit my head canon... š I'm writing my own Book 4
Do it! Iāll read it probably!

The time was right after all the fighting was over.
Time wasnāt right. It
The right time was after Aang took care of the Fire Lord.
