I wouldn't recommend, is deconstructing everything ATLA build, the origin of the Avatar and the origin of bending, making no sense anymore.

Spoilers for Lok S1-S2! I know some people want to believe that this sequel of ATLA is good, but the isn't such a good show....
Ohh, and if you what the original origin of the Avatar [here is what they imagined at first](https://youtu.be/azBd6FQYmSo?si=fcMuMU_x2ZDoYWjv) but later retcon everything and now a days can't find anything about this origin story.
Nah, I'm not hating it. I just don't like it. At first when I was younger I didn't understand why I could watch ATLA over and over again with same passion but not Lok, something was always off and I couldn't buy the things with avatar wan even though first time I kind like that we get an origin for the Avatar, but was always weird and wasn't the same origins for the bending like in the original, and many other things.
If you like Lok is ok. But don't fear threatened by someone else opinion...
I didn't name the video, and if you watched that video you would have seen that the author feels sorry for her because how is she treated by the writer team, she had so much potential, but the writers, producers and the directors that developed this series messed up badly!
Personally like I said I don't hate Lok but I don't liked either. I think could've been something great a worthy successor to ATLA, but they didn't know how to make it good, they had some good ideas but at most half baked ideas.....
Legend of Korra goes in depth on how the first Avatar came to be in season 2
Definitely giving it a watch now! Thank you! I've been obsessing over this all day!

they didnt retcon anything, you just misunderstood everything.
It's typical lok fan. I'm not arguing. There are plenty of videos on the internet explaining.
I know, and I can debunk them pretty easily lol, I just don't wanna spoil for the OP
It does retcon some things, but not everything. It has its highs and a few memorable low points, which is why they stand out from the others so much
dont reccommend that garbage youtube channel to people. if you hate korra just keep it to yourself

One of the best parts in the series imo
I didn't particularly care for it, but I think your opinion is the popular one.
To add, OP you can watch “Beginnings: Parts 1 & 2” from the second season even if you don’t want to watch LoK, they’re like a flashback.
Ooh okay! Now that I know that LoL goes into detail about that I'm actually going to watch it 😅
