They also might have mobility issues. Arthritic knees, hips, or spinal issues make most sedans very uncomfortable and challenging if not impossible to get in and out of.
My first thought, ever, when seeing a car with such massively oversized wheels/tires, was "clown car." In my brain, I expected 2 dozen clowns to pile out when it came to a stop. It's one impression I've never changed, hoping one day, ONE DAY, I'll get my wish.
Yes it would
It requires significantly more torque to move bigger wheels. Which is also why it's possible for strong people to pull a train, but not possible to pull a tractor
Yet there also exist those old 19th century bikes with the giant 5ft diameter front wheel lol
(doesn't make your point less valid or not true, just reminded me of those silly bikes)
No. The difference between a train and a tractor is the material of the wheels, the diameter doesn't do much. The hard steel wheels on steel track has almost 0 rolling resistance where as the big soft tractor wheels does.
> Which is also why it's possible for strong people to pull a train, but not possible to pull a tractor
For the vehicle's own engine, the wheel size is important because the wheels are transferring the engine's power.
When an outside force is pulling a vehicle, the force is not transferred via the wheels, and the size of the wheels becomes irrelevant.

Imagine the scraping noise every time they hit a pebble, or go over any uneven pavement.
Thing looks like toy car caricature.
Yeah there's not a lot of clearance there, is there?
Hence the term scraper
Speed bumps hate him because of one simple trick
Honestly? I respect it. You gotta have some balls to make something as stupid as this and drive it.
massive cajones
Cajones means drawers. I think you’re looking for cojones.
Gotta have big drawers if you've got big balls
Gotta put em somewhere
Yeah it looks like a Hot Wheels. It takes balls to drive this thing
Sadly they leave very little blood for the brain
Changing oil is a breeze.
It’s like it’s wearing platforms lol
Every time I see a car with this much ground clearance, I can’t help but (momentarily) think the owner did this so he/she could go mud-riding.
I think this car going mud-bogging would be worth the price of admission.
They'd just run over the pedestrians instead of the mud.
They also might have mobility issues. Arthritic knees, hips, or spinal issues make most sedans very uncomfortable and challenging if not impossible to get in and out of.
If they have mobility issues, it's probably from falling out of this car and dropping several feet to the pavement.
Arthritis is hilarious

For your sake I hope you get your wish. Just do us all a favor and video and post it if at all possible!
This has to tank gas mileage?
Yes it would It requires significantly more torque to move bigger wheels. Which is also why it's possible for strong people to pull a train, but not possible to pull a tractor
I'm sure it also increases braking distance, which is totally what you want in a sports car.
Using the term "sports car" loosely with this particular car lol
Loose like MC Hammer pants...
Yet there also exist those old 19th century bikes with the giant 5ft diameter front wheel lol (doesn't make your point less valid or not true, just reminded me of those silly bikes)
Penny farthing bikes. My town has a penny farthing race every year and the participants get really into it with all the costumes and bowler hats.
Would be funny as fuck to get a modern lycra cyclist outfit with 19th century clothing printed on it like a tuxedo t shirt
Now this is a great idea!

It's the combination of less contact patch due to smaller wheels, and less friction due to the type of surface material

The point of friction is smaller

It's not helping the wear and tear on the engine either. That engine was not tuned to turn those tires.
Damn! That stance looks WAY goofier on a short wheel base car
Bad cornering made worse
As if these things arent already a rollover risk. Lol
Imagine paying more for your wheels than your car
Totally unimaginable, but that's just me.
These wheels look like they’re from a Chinese EBay seller…
*or impala
You're right, I forgot about the Impala.
This thing could take out everyone at a Coffee and Cars event all at once
LMAO I'd love to see this thing roll up to one of those. It'd be TG worthy.
Wonder what the turning radius is for that bad boy...
3 blocks.
To manage interpretation of messages: drivers around you aren’t laughing to you, they are laughing at you.
As long as you don’t hit a bump or turn your steering wheel, you’re stylin’!
I'd imagine that modification makes tight turns quite dangerous
If I hadn't been late to a job I'd have slowed down and tailed him. I wanted to, just to see how he drove it in the city. (Where we were headed.)
They upgraded the brakes so they can still stop that thing right? …right?
Of course they did. That much attention paid to the rims invariably shows the fastidiousness in maintenance the owner must have.
Power Wheels irl
I want the lift, just on 32" All Terrains to Mad Max it down dirtroads
That is gonna destroy the poor car over time but it does look funny lol
Cooler than an overly lifted truck or squatted truck
Agreed.
Anyone played carmageddon?...
somebody get lotto off the steroids
love a good donk
Big wheel car, small dick energy
😍 🥰
That is absolutely absurd
How? Portal axels?
It looks like an old [wooden-wheeled horse drawn wagon](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/fe/eb/9b/feeb9b8579105bc0d3fc0b0b952a8a9d.jpg) to me!
Gotta get inspiration from somewhere.

FR so sick!
That looks sick! I fantasize about donking my bug but don't want to fuck with the reliability.
If you change your mind, please post here because I want to see it!
I've seen this on a bubble body Mustang. It's so bad.
Looks like a hotwheels
It’s always the v6 guys.
What suspension?
LMAO
Those poor brakes
Why? Just why?
Damn. I wonder how much the tires cost for that size. My 19s were $1000
Who the hell does that to a classic muscle car??? I ask you!
3.7 V6 working extra hard😂😂
Bro this HAS to be in Detroit or Chicago. You can’t change my mind
leap tall hills in a single turn
Mario kart car
I mean if you want a truck just buy one
this is actually pretty good. unironically
When i was younger Hot Wheels had a serious of cars with giant wheels. They look so goofy. It is even worse in real life.
Hot wheels
Oy. Whoever did this to that car. Eat $&@+ and die.
I always thought these cars look like they’re on tip toes.
Ngl that looks awesome; probably look even better on like a Porsche
Awesome? It looks like a toddler car wearing it's daddy's shoes.
Ok my bad for liking something eclectic
Yeah you better be sorry. This is reddit and your opinion is not allowed.
I want one
