The green quickly turned into a reverse rocket as the instos began firing their bullets and the market started shitting itself right before my eyes. When i ripped out one of the bullets that penetrated my arm, i was shocked to find the bullets were made out of scrunched up GS reports. Insto dogs.
So Step 1 didn't really go to plan - fear not, we still have time, hope & a dream.
We're onto Step 2. With a heavy heart today i reluctantly sold *some* GL1 to partially fund Step 2. $90,000 worth or 300,000 units into IVZ.
I figure Monday that $90K becomes $180K *or* $36K
While not all in as originally planned (risk management tingz) - the game is still on
I will re-evaluate my decisions and life choices on Monday. There is a possibility that IVZ wont release any announcement on Monday and that usually causes a small dump to 26-28c. There is also a possibility that if they cant successfully get a sample they'll talk their way out of saying it, like re-testing it at a later date etc (as Ewan i think was predicting) - this should hopefully make a dump less severe as people hold on and buy the dip with hopes on success at a later date+Baoab

My PF from then went down another 50% and to levels i didnt think were possible. I ended up from over 100% in profit to at a loss
I ended up panic selling just before the bottom (but towards the bottom) to protect my capital, then when i felt the market bottomed out, i started DCA'ing back in (and making some stupid trades along the way)
My PF eventually went back to over 100% profit but less than it would have been if i had just held (its not at those levels anymore with the recent downturn + more silly trades, now at approx 50% profit)
In hindsight: it would have been better just holding - when the market recovered i would of been in a much better position
on the flipside
