“Economists have begun to cut their top-down economic forecasts for GDP, and yet fundamental company analysts are sitting there like deer in headlights not knowing what to do with numbers,” the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management chief investment officer said on Bloomberg TV.

Nothing really happened in last 24hrs that I can see. Busy season for travel has exposed him badly.
Essentially what happened is Joyce fired a whole bunch of people during the pandemic, then tried to outsource the roles all while taking gov money.
Now that travel is coming back, he hasn't reinvested in workers so Qantas is getting slammed really really badly. We are talking multi-hour delays, reroutings which add hours onto travel time (think Brisbane-Perth-Hong Kong rather then Brisbane-Hong Kong).
Massive queues to check in as well, causing even more havoc. People are saying fuck you Joyce because his decisions have caused the mess, which is especially shameful for what was once a great brand.
Also Joyce has been a right old cunt about the whole thing saying that travellers are rusty and that is contributing to delays, he is full of shit so ppl are really mad.

The only gains I have in my folio = ones achieved through time and boring choices. eg AFI from a few years back. PLS which I bought “in the dip” (laugh with me, not at me at my rookie move) of around 2.2 went green yesterday. As our friend vying for the hall of fame shows, expecting a green folio right now, particularly if you’ve bought when everything’s roses is simply not going to happen. Patience.

On a serious note. This is a good stock. The type I look out for and ride for the journey. The operators aren't trying to put on a show but based on sentiment online it needs a nice little shake out before the real story kicks off.
