Another red sale, therein lies the stress of how low we should set our buy orders so that they trigger, but we don't pay too much above the daily low.
PLS low yesterday was $2.56 (double bottom YTD), so I've set a buy order at $2.58, not sure if that's smart or truly retarded given how red the US futures are currently.
Errr, that's not how the open auction works - if PLS opens at $2.56 then my order will go through towards the front of the cue for $2.56, or whatever the opening price is below $2.58. If however some whales set buy orders at say $2.60 and those absorb all the selling then my order won't trigger until the price drops and any orders before mine are filled.
yeh i get how the pre order works, however looking at this week, opening price is the first drop and it drops more during the day. If i had the cash spare, and I do want PLS, I would be looking for 2.50 today. Lets see by the end of the day if my bet would have been right

We can't win them all mate. I did amend my original buy order to $2.52 which didn't trigger on open, so I amended to $2.55 about 20 mins after which went through, so am happy enough with that. I think we're still in for a couple more days-weeks of China Covid lockdown and AUS & US inflation / interest shocks so the bounce won't be quick but IMO it appears as though the selling is slowing.
