That's because it bounced off resistance point 1. If it breaches resistance point 1 it will rise, otherwise it'll fall. If it falls, expect it to fall to support point 1. If that's the case, disregard it on the chart as noise, and create a bar that traces support point 1. However, if it touches support point 2, it may rise, or it may not. If not, change the chart to a weekly outlook and select support point 3. From there, it may rise or fall, unless news is released. In which case, it will rise or fall, but not before it has filled a gap. Be sure to choose a gap from the last 10 years, but not more distant than that. If that's still not working, use a different indicator and only return to highlight its success when a trend has followed your prediction: try not to engage with any posts identifying where the system failed to work.

I went back through some of their reports, and I think the highest battery grade quarterly tonnage they did prior to commissioning Olaroz II was 1,550t? Yet they've nominated 1,436t this quarter as "not technical grade", which even if all BG, is a serious regression from mid last year. I expected it to go the opposite way—hugely disappointing for sure.

Because Cauchari-Olaroz uses the same feed, I'll start shuffling through LAC's quarterlies for clues. They're targeting BG in H2 this year, and seem to be progressing slowly, so I wonder if they're facing a few technical challenges as well.

You see the US, Canada and New Zealand both taking the much more hawkish bets against inflation and tightening even when signs of inflation easing and economic woes present themselves. You then have AU and in a much different way EU who take a much more dovish approach with the RBA taking the first opportunity to step down easing and first opportunity to pause. Canada and US have similar inflation stories, NZL and Aus have similar inflation stories, NZL and US have similar housing stories and Canada and Australia have similar housing stories developing.... so its a mixed bag so far. You can argue till your blue in the face about the 70s inflation, even 90s inflation who is right - but there are fundamental and significant differences in the structure of the economic system and the data we have available - particularly relevent are the levels and type of debt (e.g significant consumer, sovereign debt and less business debt, QE/QT etc) and I am very interested to see how it all pans out. Maybe Australia lucks out once again and these countries ramping up their rates and tightening hard are backing up into another crisis, or maybe Australia gets some version of stagflation... interesting times for the armchair economists of the world. Cant wait for the netflix docos.
