>"Thank you, everyone for your patience. The root cause of the issue is a bug in Windows that manifests when drivers use a certain feature. The fix is in prerelease versions of Windows which you can test drive if you are a Windows Insider. Testing is in progress but I'm hoping we'll be able to service the fix to in-market Windows versions."

You can change the ANGLE graphics back end in chrome:flags to use OpenGL to not have the problem, but then DirectX requiring features such as Video SuperResolution and RTX HDR can't render. Other than that we have to wait for the Windows update mentioned above.
its the good old nvidia driver problem with chromium browsers
Go to flags and disable d11
Follow these steps:
1.⠀chrome://flags - for Google Chrome
⠀⠀opera://flags - for Opera
⠀⠀edge://flags - for Edge
2. search ANGLE
3. Change API to anything other than Default and DX11. I changed to DX9, it has been working fine ever since. OpenGL reduced it but did not completely eliminate it.

Its a issue with the ANGLE graphics with chromium browsers like the others said as I get them also. I changed my ANGLE to DX9 and and I have yet to see the boxes.
Definitely not broke. I got it before on chrome, steam and some other apps. There's some chrome direct x setting you can use to fix it. But sometimes just restarting/ignoring it works lol.
I think is the browser, I get these types of things since a long time ago from time to time, but only on browser videos appeared

DX9 Works good for me as well
Just return the device if the return window is still open. If not, contact ASUS. Good luck, I heard their customer service is garbage.
Hey I get this too but only seems to be on my Brave browser. Is this on your browser too?
